This question came up in discord and I wondered if there was an answer.

Fabricant trees and animals, do they grow? If I see a fabricant sapling will it eventually grow to an adult tree? Do fabricant cherry trees produce flowers and petals?
Do fabricant animals have young?

Just curious.

Plants and animals in Clockwork be they young or old were created by the God, and will still be the same. With some oil ofc :)

Fabricant plants are synthetic in nature and will not grow, they will remain in the form sotha sil created them in. Similarly, real flora cannot grow in the cwc due to the synthetic nature of the soil, and only the everwound wellspring supports real flora. It isn't till atleast the 4th era till the clockwork city is overrun with real flora (due to the completion of the mechanical heart)
