If this was due to lack of coffee then all is forgiven, no one can function at full mental capacity without Coffee.
On topic, I have no idea. Dunmer seems very popular as PvP option with those I have spoken with, however I couldn't say if it's the "best".

Just wondering because some people talked about DPS.
Depends on if your build utilize magicka over a defined period. Otherwise orc would be the better pic.
