Does a poison that heals the user count as "healing an ally"?

Just curious - prob a dumb question but I've never used or researched poisons in the game.
If I use a poison that damages an enemy and also heals me, does that condition qualify as 'healing an ally' in terms of a monster set?
for example, the 2 piece of the symphony of blades monster set:
(2 items) When you heal an ally whose primary resource is under 50%, grant them Meridia’s Favor, restoring 2325 of that resource every 1 second for 6 seconds. 18 second cooldown.

Usually "an ally" includes healing yourself. Cant think of a case where it doesn't tbh.
Not sure on the poison side though.EU: Magden, Magknight, Stamsorc(*2), Magsorc

Gorrest✭✭✭Any healing spell that can heal others are counted as "Healling Ally", so things like Vigor, Vines, BoL, and Rapid Regen.
While things that can only heal yourself is not counted as "Healing Ally", so things like Blood, Rally, and Betty Netch resummon.-PvP Characters-

For recent sets that target yourself and allies, we try to include the phrase "you or an ally" or "you and your allies". ✭✭✭✭✭This is going to be a strong set. I mean sustain is supposed to be part of power creep and now theyre giving you 4650 recovery of EVERY stat for six seconds? A 12 second cool down is not bad at all. This won't be terribly necessary in PvE I don't think, but this is another example of a set that gives large groups a huge advantage.0 -
