My character, a Dunmer Nightblade is an adventurer at heart, but living in Skyrim as a Dark Elf gave him the viewpoint of the cynical survivor early on. His dream is to form a band of others like him who have gone rogue against the way things are. Common kindred of the wisdom of selfishness, if you will. While the quest system in ESO disrupts suspension of belief one needs to immerse in a fantasy of being an adventurer in Tamriel, one can still roleplay adventure if one is innovative. As for myself, the player of the character, I'm not looking to make some big fuss of a guild. You can join up to five anyway. I just want to find people who roleplay on the quality level I have been lucky to experience in the two Neverwinter Nights games and the fun people I met in City of Heroes. The theme of this guild is adventurers who go against the flow of society and become associated with one another, forming a gang that calls itself 'The Shadows'. Where it goes from there is really up to the people that want to be a Shadow. I'm not going to post easy to figure out directions on what to do to join. If you really want to do this, we will figure it out. The nature of the gang calling itself "The Shadows" will be defined by those interested in it, but I'm going in the general direction of a bunch of misfits with dark pasts who all share a common interest in vigilante behavior against the norm. Look at the setting, you have a lot of factions that for want of a better word, are totalitarian in nature. If you played Skyrim, you know how the Nords are towards other people in general, and how some Nords defy this commonality. So, I dunno, drop me a line in game to
@walpurgisnacht. I just made my character this morning so I'm not sure if I tried to recreate his name here by memory if I would get a letter two or not, but its kinda a variant of Vlad Dracul. No I don't play two dimensional hostile dark elf or overly gothic creepy emo vampire.
