Maelstrom bow bugged?

im wearing tfs full body dw vo front bar (vma build) and i was tryna build my ult on add and i wondered how much is endless hail ticking for. when i use endless hail and imedietly swap to my dw it keeps ticking higher but stops at 3k (crit) 3 times then ticks for 3300 (crit) two more times. but when i stay on my bow it keeps hoing higher all the way to 4300 (crit)
Is the mail strom bow always been like this?
(bow enchant is crusher and yes i kept all my buffs up when testing it)

the maelstrom bow tick increase only applies when the first 1-3 hits (dunno how many exactly) land while youre on backbar.

thats why all stamDD rotas you find in the internet use Hail as the first backbar skill, so it can start ticking while you get Poisone injection and clatrops out.

yes, the maelstrom bow has always been like this. You have to be on your bow-bar when endless hail first hits for the maelstrom effect to work.
That's why when you look up rotations endless hail is always the 1st or 2nd skill to use when you go to your backbar.

@Harrdarrzarr i tested it and when i was on my duel wield bar it was still ticking until it hit 3k and the the last 2 tick it even went higher to 3.3k and i didnt switch to my backbar at all
