Personal irks in PvP

Just my personal problems with ESO PvP and I know this will be different for everyone. But instead of calling ppl out or L2play im just wondering what your issues with it are. Obviously we all do not like the performance issues and bugs so im trying to focus on actual skills and mechanics.

First and foremost is CC in this game. It is never a good idea to allow ppl to die while not having control of their character, IMHO of course. Not sure why its Control while kill in ESO. IMO any CC should break on direct dmg done and should be used to knock someone out of the fight while you kill their friend(s).

Second is proc sets. Why do you keep adding proc sets that do the work for ppl? It never ever makes things fun unless you're a troll. Ill never understand games that allow proc sets that do so much dmg.

Going tanky? then you should be trading dmg and healing to be tanky. Going dmg? Then you should not be able to go tanky and heal. Going support? Then your dmg and tankiness should be subpar. Ill never understand how it makes sense to let ppl have high dmg in heavy armor and a HoT that heals them to full.

Why can we take a keep without owning the resources? Sieging could be much more grand and mean so much more with having to own the resources an defend them in order to take control of a keep. This has been done before, how is this missing?

Make resources and outter ring keeps make inner ring keeps stronger and hard to cap. Control the easier way to progress in cyro so there is less running all over gods creation. It will still be possible for smaller groups to go to back line but there wont be 3 ppl taking backline keeps...sorry but it should take more ppl to do that or such a long time to do so that help has ample time to show.

We have the ability to raid PvE with all factions, give us a betrayal quest that resets our renown ranks if need be to go with lore and make us KoS to guard till we prove ourselves to be able to play with these newly found friends instead of releveling our characters.

Maybe split cyrodiil into 3 zones to help with lag? Its absolutely evident that we wont see a lag free cyro, maybe making it faction based zones will help? I have nothing to back this claim its just suggestion.

Make rewards worth the time and potions with different effect for Pvpers to purchase. give us more stuffs to put our gold to. Skins to earn, outfits to buy, mounts, titles to earn that give us a bonus in Pvp like % AP gained.

Let Healers gain AP again for doing what they do. This is in BGs and Cyro. HEll give tanks a shout out too for dmg absorbed/Blocked.

Give Ap bonuses for equal amount of advisaries in one area. The fight was 20 on 25> close to same AP regardless the winner 40 on 15? if 40 ppl win then not as much but if 15 win then give them a bonus. Great teamwork should be rewarded. Any how just some quick ideas. Tell me yours if you wish =)

    My irks.
    Bust skills like snipe
    Alliance switching for nefarious reasons
    AP Boosters
Guilds trading emp so their mates can 'tick it off'
Alliance loyalty needs to mean more
Campaign goals need to mean more
OP Proc sets (not as bad as they were but still)
7 day noCP would be nice (maybe switch Shor)
Private battlegrounds for guild comps be nice
Incentives to get IC pop up (separate campaign might work we'll see)
IC needs cp, noCP and Kyne (1-49) versions when it's split out

I'm sure I'll edit when i have more time and add.

My worst annoyance in Cyrodiil is the players on my own EP faction who, having beaten off the ravaging hordes of DC at Chalman or AD at Sejanus, rush foaming at the mouth to be the first to attack Bleakers or Alessia front door and then realize, "Oops, we left the siege at home."

Seriously, EP. Light attacks aren't going to bring the walls down.

And when I set up my siege to bust open the keep so you can get that sweet, sweet AP inside...watch my back, okay? Is that so hard to ask that you don't run away and leave me hanging?

List of Things That Minorly Bug Me in Cyrodiil

1.) Having to ride to defend a keep without rapids.

Rapids are pretty necessary in Cyrodiil for a number of reasons. For me, the most important reason is the increase to mount movement speed. I have to give up a "situational" utility slot on my bar to use rapids. Most of the time I don't care and slot rapids. But at least once a day I go into a fight wishing I had slotted that other, useful skill. Solution is just to swap rapids off and on my bar...but that's a lot of time spent in menus.

2.) Having to defend Brindle or Drakelowe.

I really hate "ESO: Horse Riding Edition". However, I do like the open world...and the fights.

3.) Milegates and the missed opportunity for interesting fights.

Milegates can be destroyed. I like that. After destruction, one side can still jump over. I don't like that. If milegates/bridges became impassable by both sides, there might be an incentive to fight on Werewolf Bridge or in the Mines of Moria. Fights in those locations would be fun.

    4.) Resource Tower Farmers

Resource Tower Farmers are usually a group of 6+ players who wait in a resource for enemies to show up. After the resource is flipped and a sufficient number of AP has shown up; The group of 6+ pushes out, dumps ultis on PUGs/new players, then flips the resource back. I don't care much about the previous point though. What Really REALLY bothers me is when enough AP doesn't show up the Farmers start taking other resources until more does. Its the "play with me or else" attitude that irritates me.

    5.) Fighting Nightblades

Cloak. Some Nightblades are addicted to the use of cloak and invis pots. "Oh my attack missed / I took damage! Better cloak and run around randomly." I HATE chasing these guys around and typically get frustrated which leads to me BURNING THEM WITH EVERYTHING I HAVE WITHOUT MERCY. Also scorching flare is garbage to aim.

There's probably more that I'll add later. Going back to Cyro lol

    Personal irks in pvp.

    1. Multiple gap closers stun on impact. So OP.
    2. Reflections. They’re too powerful. They should have reduced effect in pvp like talons and only negate the damage instead.
    3. Not being able to mount while in combat. There’s no reason I shouldn’t be able to mount.
    4. No decent ranged aoe attacks. Inevitable detonation is garbage.
    5. Delay on break free. It should be instant with no/a short animation
    6. Bad pvp sets. Most pvp sets are garbage, all they do is bait new players into trying them because they don’t know any better, then they run to the forums to complain about how ESO pvp sucks. Make pvp sets for pvp and pve sets for pve.

Obvious use of cheats I was in combat for 5 seconds the other day and my death recap consisted of
    Surprise attack
    Light attack
    Poison damage x12

Would have had to proc twice 3 seconds before combat engaged to make that possible

    Scrubs that tea bag

Scrubs that cannot 1 v 1 and tea bag you after X v 1ing you

    People that seem top be able to tank 4/6 players then turn around and destroy them all like they have 5.5k weapon damage. It's usually DKs for that to be even remotely close to possible on my DK I use Troll King- Seventh legion- Ravager 5 Heavy 2 Med requires;

A perfectly timed Ulti for execution and RSS gain, a perfectly timed pot for RSS/stats 6 of those players to be bad and hopefully Squishy NBs that are glass cannons and perfect targeting priority along with clever LoS. I've done it before take down 4 at once in a Deathmatch yes I played well for it, yes felt great after, yes geared for it I still dont think it should be happening though particularly small scale non CP to survive it I shouldn't have been able to take all of the 4 down.

Stun into snare into snare in stun into snare into root into snare into stun into OOS.

Omg agree completely. I've had inevitable det (over proxy det due to my squishy news) slotted for the last week in my ongoing attempt to try out underused skills and have found that the cast time is way too long, aiming the skill is very "hit or miss" (lol literally and figuratively), and the damage for what the skill tries and fails to do is negligable. I've only gotten 10-25 kills in the last week using it against it's preferred target (stacked groups of players).

Agree on both points. There is no incentive to stay with one alliance the entire campaign. There is no incentive to even win the campaign or score high. I was AD and in the top 50 for my campaign for the last 2 months both times I got the usual garbage that Warlord Sorcalin sends me in the mail and some rocks.

I agree with the aoe damage. It was really weird to me when I started playing that all these aoe attacks were used in ST rotations.

    Mine are angst towards design..

Undodgable skills, AoE executes, how depthless Cyrodiil is (buy equipment and PvDoor), lack of community, no campaign faction locks..

    The algorithms and coding.

They're finally coming up and redoing PvP sets. PvP is endgame for me, why we do not have equivalents in gear to PvE boggles me.

I don't care for how easy travel is and undeveloped the map is.

But the EP zergs love to rush Bleaks/DClaw, especially when AD has emp and AD/EP are 3 bars and we’ve got 2 bars no scrolls and are in last place. I know I’m sure it happens all around, it’s just ridiculous how much effort factions will put into PvDoor.
