Wasn't the original intent to allow all races to play any way? They made khajit and dark elf's equally good at stamina and Magicka... Why didn't they just do that with all the races? They don't have a trade-off regardless of spec... Why do other races?

long sotry short, diversity in PVE got nerfed with the actual PTS races.
PTS week 1 changes where much better overall IMO.
not every race should be able to do anything...but every race shoul dbe good at more than just one thing

I don't disagree... But they did make races like the khajit and dark elf equally good at everything... They are both very solid choices regardless of spec with no downfall either way... In contrast take the wood elf or as altmer... They are only arguably AS good at one discipline and have very little towards the opposite

jeah sadly some races are now jacks of all trades but masters of none, like Khajit or Dunmer, while other hold the monoploe in certain playstsles like breton for magDD
Guess three reasons. 1) they wanted expand the use of races. 2) supported by lore 3) plenty of Khajiit magic characters and Dunmer stamina ones as in more than other non meta combinations.Wasn't the original intent to allow all races to play any way?
