Maintenance for the week of February 23:
· [IN PROGRESS] NA megaservers for maintenance – February 23, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)

Downtime is a bit ridiculous today. Some of us only have time to play in the morning and work in the afternoon. Looks like I'll be getting screwed out of 2 tickets today

Relax, it's been 51 minutes. If your schedule is that tight then perhaps you shouldn't bother with the event.

No it's been 8 hours and 51+ minutes. They should never schedule these things during Events and ESO+ trial.

Life happens. Get over it and find something else to do.
"And it's important to state that our decision to go with subscriptions is not a referendum on online game revenue models. F2P, B2P, etc. are valid, proven business models - but subscription is the one that fits ESO the best, given our commitment to freedom of gameplay, quality and long-term content delivery. Plus, players will appreciate not having to worry about being "monetized" in the middle of playing the game, which is definitely a problem that is cropping up more and more in online gaming these days. The fact that the word "monetized" exists points to the heart of the issue for us: We don't want the player to worry about which parts of the game to pay for - with our system, they get it all."

Yeah, because absolute necessary server maintenance to keep the game running is something they willingly schedule to be conflicting with popular events. Did it ever occur to you that sometimes things just need to happen on their own timeline? Hardware needs to be replaced? Data tables need to be updated? The whole world doesn't revolve around you or anyone else, just accept that life is full of inconveniences and you'll be much happier.

yeah really it's like 10-15 min for BOTH events. You will be fine.

We REALLY need maintenance - you know that - you can tell by how long EVERYTHING in game takes at the moment.

ESO could have easily delayed this until the event was over. They chose not too, not because the game wasn't running but because they didn't think how it would impact players.

Normally when they try to fix something they end up breaking two or more things. So, it might be awhile.

ESO could have easily also turned off all their servers for an entire month and just fix every problem right away, but they didn't. Care to hazard a guess why? Because extended maintenance times caused by unexpected problems like THIS are called "unforeseen circumstances". Familiarize yourself with that concept a bit.

This was planned to be a long Maintenance. Bad choice on their part. If it was a normal cycle, then I would have not made that comment. Thanks for the salt for your uninformed ignorance of the announcement.

It was PLANNED to be a maintenance that only took 8 hours. Due to unexpected problems, it is lasting longer than that. Thanks for the salt of your uninformed ignorance of the announcement.

The only salt going on here is yourself and the others who are having a rage fit because the server is down. Relax, it will be ok.

Eu got this update two weeks ago. After that the game was unplayable, so we got a second maintenance for another 2 hours. Relax, until you will also get this too
