Probably not much, main reason to upgrade OS is security and support.MartiniDaniels wrote: »They leased some servers for event period
Honestly I genuinely think this is true or something along these lines.
There is absolutely no other explanation for the fact that during the PvP event cyrodill was fine. There weren't any glaring issues and there was even a poll somewhere on the forums asking how happy people were with the performance and I think 80-90% of people said they were satisfied.
Now all of a sudden the performance drops again (ironically with less players in Pvp cause of no event) and more forum threads are appearing about performance issues again.

What does this mean though in relation to performance?
You want a meaningful discussion? It seems to me this is where ZOS could jump in with some technical details and, thus, provide it. The only reason people are bumping this thread is because they're worn down and baffled by years of PvP lag. I watched a really old ESO Live on YouTube, recently, and Brian Wheeler (to the best of my recollection it was him) was talking about gradual performance improvements being made. Fast forward 3 years and nothing has changed. That ESO Live could have been made yesterday. For God's sake, can we get an update, please? Perhaps your role isn't to be privy to the technical details and just keep order in the forums, but it seems to me you are still in a far better position to get some real answers than any of the rest of us. Just ask your tech team. As it stands, your post is the least constructive of them all.ZOS_RogerJ wrote: »Just a friendly reminder to please refrain from replying to discussion threads for the sole purpose of “bumping” them. This is considered to be a form of spam because it does not add to the discussion in a constructive or meaningful way. We understand that everyone would like to keep their discussion active and visible, but we encourage you to strive for meaningful and constructive posts instead of posts that consist of nothing more than “Bump!” or "up!".
