and whats the top 5 for

stamina-

reason im asking is im returning after being gone awhile and i forget whats the best what to keep and what to sell but i rember builkds are mostly either all stamina or all magika so ii wondered what the top sets of each category are

    There’s no one armor set that covers all types of content, @TraumaHawk.

    You’re going to have to specify the type of content ... though even then there might be 2 or 3 sets (or more) that are good for that type of content.

    Magicka: Julianos, Mother Sorrow, Spell Strategist, BSW and Siroria.

    Stamina: Hundings, Advancing Yokeada, Relequen, Automaton and VO.

    Monster sets: Velidreth, Zaan, Skoria, Illambris and slimecraw.

    Stormfist is really good too. I haven't worried a out gear since coming back, since I'm leveling some new characters. Still using hunding's, spriggan's, and stormfist. With 498 CP, I'm still pulling 30k on world bosses. It's hard when people just pull them around in huge circles, so a lot of my abilities are useless, lol. I'm also leveling up abilities, so I'm missing trap from my bar.

    Leviathan. Practically advancing yokeda but not a proc, also slimecraw is useless on NB, or any situation u get minor berserk anyway (good healer for example, when you are not all over the map). But it is good for solo play on sorcs and alike (not sure what other classes have minor berserk built in, I know that sorcs and dks don't have it)

    Necro is niche for pet builds, Spriggans is niche for solo.

    Necro = Good on pet builds
    Spriggans/spinner = Good for solo builds
    NMG = Good for trash fights

    And the more niches you go for the more sets opens up tbh.

    I use 5x julianos, 5x BSW, 2x Valkyn, works pretty good.

    Im running Spriggan, Mech Accuity and Slimecraw on a Stamplar. Im only keeping Mech because I can proc it frequently.

    Nightblades have it whether they want it or not. (I.e., they're supplying it to themselves even if they trust their healer to have 100% Combat Prayer uptime.)

    Wardens have it if they want it.

    That's all.

    Well, leviathan is good if you don't use vma bow. But since it's suggested that everyone uses vma bow even if they don't have one, so all monkeys are farming HRC like crazy to get hands on those shiny daggers :D

    I never could understand why anyone would use spinners in pve. Maybe for very low cp but why waste time upgrading it when its only gonna be usable for a period of time. Mag dps already get right at 5k pen then with cp you can get a few K pen then in group your pen is should be max for whatever content you're doing. The most challenging solo content is Vma and even using' spinners there is a loss. I'm not shading anyone that is using it because i haven't and I may be missing something but seems like a waste.

    This is something that ppl dont understand. Leviathan or Advancing Yokeda each can out perform the other depending on your build. Doesn't matter if you use vma bow or leviathan bow. If you are doing a max stam build then leviathan will give you more dps and if you use infused and bloodthirsty jewelry then advancing will give more dps. I've done extensive testing with these sets with relequen and VO and both and really close and Leviathan does most dps in most cases unless running atleast 2 infused jewelry with weapon damage enchant. I recommend anyone that is trying to farm Advancing and having no luck then just go get leviathan jewelry and the second boss in crypt II drops a named leviatan dagger.

    To have Scathing mage worth anything, you need to use force pulse as your spammable and have more then 70-80% crit. Mother sorrow is much more consistent, keep in mind julianos is within 1-2% of mothers sorrow, so if you are doing all right with julianos, there is little reason to switch to mother's sorrow. Spinners is great if you don't put any cp into spell pen.

    i have a templar and a dragon knight so must have sets for those or atleast sets that sell for alot cause i gotta ditch some stuff woul;d hate to dich a high dollar item

    i use veledrith, vo and briarheart on stamblade, love the heals and sustain
    at a place nobody knows

    BSW, Silks of the Sun, and Grothdaar on MagDK. Works great for me.

    Same here. You lose like 1-2k dps with this setup, but gain everything else.

    Selene, Kragh or Mephala 2pc are also good for static boss fights. For everything else, just go Veli.
