Colouring the Combat Reticle

Hi All,
I would like to to request an add-on related to the combat reticle.
I think it would be great to have the basic reticle (or an enhanced one, what Combat Reticle or Rainbow Reticle add-ons provide) changing colour based on what weapon set I am equipping (front/back).
I reckon it is not impossible to do and I think it might be useful.

fgoron2000✭✭✭✭I've inquired in the past about modifying the appearance of the mouse pointer itself, and got the impression from responses that it was either not easy or else not possible to do. Although the combat reticle is not the same exact thing, the answer might possibly be the same or similar...
