I purchased the digital download and my main desktop PC will be out of action for a couple of weeks. Does the license allow me to download and play on my laptop while my PC is mothballed?

It's your game, you can play it/ install it anywhere. They will issue a security code that you will have to copy from email and paste in game to make sure you own the account. Because you logged in on a new machine.0
