Communicate DPS numbers if you get the chance before they boot you. Entering voice chat by default is a good idea at that CP level.

If you don't get the chance, then their loss. Just note down their names internally for your own future reference.

People should, at least, give it a couple of goes with someone and then apologise if it then turns out they have to find someone else.

To kick straight away is just rude.

Happened to me too, playing on NA got told i can't join because i'm too low CP (450+ at the time) for vRoM.
I know the mechanics very well, having a 810CP+ character on EU and had vRoM on farm mode, got to admit it tilted me slightly.

Sadly there will always be elitists and pseudo-elitists in MMOs. While I would hesitate to call anyone with max CP a noob, they certainly missed out on an opportunity giving you a chance to show you could pull your weight.

My favorite personal experience running into pseudo-elitists like that was on normal Darkshade Caverns II at the final boss while I was DPSing on my stamsorc. The healer and other DPS instantly face-planted as the fight started, with the tank soon following. While their characters napped, they proceeded to tell me what a trash build I had for not being a ranged DPS and for using a 2hander and for being an orc etc., etc. ... while I solo'd the boss. I lol'd at the nerve of dead players telling the only one able to survive they were trash. Admittedly I was tempted to immediately drop group as there was no way they were progressing without serious help, but I was there for the quest & skill point and didn't want to muck through it all again. So I killed the boss and politely asked "If I'm a trash player, what does that say about the rest of the group?"
