The Nerf to the stop really hurts non DK/warden tanks in pve, which is going against zos's "all classes can do all roles" thing.this poll is for alternative Nerf.

And for those who say the skill is useless in pve, it is one of the better options for vFL hm skills for a tank

    As the skill currently is, I can stand a safe distance from any inner breach on a mag class and just keep Time Stopping over and over and over without ever worrying about resources. From a PVP perspective, the nerf is fine as it is, but I personally would have preferred a cost increase penalty on successive casts, a la Streak.

    I'm not HAPPY with the nerf for my own gameplay since I play a NB tank in PVE and this is my only hard AOE CC, but the hill I'll die on is "give NB tanks a class CC" and not "let NB and Temp tanks have cheap AOE CC from a paywalled skill line".
    AD is the best looking faction. I don't make the rules, I just enforce them.

    I liked it in pvp. It was tactical support option. PvP shouldn't be just straight fist fight.

    I don't see an option for me on the poll. My option would be nerf it into the ground. Remove the snare or the stun and increase the cost to 15k magicka. Alternatively, you could replace the ability with something else that wasn't stupid and zergy.

    I would also opt to remove the snare from it after you have broken free of the stun. Increasing the cost to 8k is not going to stop players from spamming it in PVP as for some 'support' players that is all they do. mSorcs with Dark Conversion will still be able to spam it.

    The skill is incredibly strong in PvP. A ranged AOE spammable snare/hard CC that negates the next 5000 healing you get and has a buggy break free. I personally hate the skill since every raid we are fighting group that primarily use Time Stop and a lot of siege and you cant do anything to stop it. Is it good in PvE, I don't know since I very rarely PvE unless I'm farming gear. Is it over performing in PvP, in my opinion yes. I do like the nerf and I wish there were more to it.

    You're missing the only option that will make a difference. Remove the snare from the skill, and fix the CC break delay.

    When did it become a problem? I don't even use the ability it self since I currently only play a Stam NB in pvp and never knew there was anything wrong with it... sounds like a L2P issue

    Never thought of it as an PvE skill but saw Xynode's fang lair there he used it a lot on trash pulls.
    Has the obvious benefit that healer can cast it as healers are not very stressed under trash pulls and time stop reduce need of healing.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    Do you play solo or in raids? Solo I don't have problems with Time Stop spammers but in raid I can see 4-6 at all times. This isn't a L2P issue it's a balancing issue between PvP and PvE as well as how effective a skill is in PvP and PvE. I gave my opinion in the comments above about why I hate the skill. If you could say why it shouldn't be nerfed or recommend changes for it then please do so.

    It only affects the area around the player.
    You cant project it like hail or caltrops.
    Remove cast time and stun.
    Make it immobile and minor def down.

    I can get behind this. Have it kinda like permafrost. Hit the ability, run in, snares the enemy, after 3 seconds or so it stuns. If they make it like that or just shorten the range by a good amount, this would be balanced (imo) for PvE and PvP.

    Sounds like you’re to busy ganking rather than breaching, you should be the first one in so you can push the ppl spamming TS and siege

    Perhaps i play at the wrong time where the TS spammers actually know what they’re doing
