    Then again, we are getting Dragons in the next Chapter, so I guess the Lore is now a variable.

    So, does it really matter who the Lore Master is?

    Change for the most part is good imo. As long as its a few people and not a full on purge and replace then its just the norm

    It depends.. If they don’t replace those people it looks a bit grim. It could be seen as if the game is becoming less profitable and they’ll have a smaller team. But we don’t know much what is going on at ZOS it’s only speculation.

    I mean, I find it darkly funny that for all the grief that the forum community gave Wrobel over the years, we've now got people doomsaying over his leaving.


    However, I've appreciated (for the most part) the effort the Dev Team old and new put into the game and I still enjoy ESO. So YMMV on what the changes foretell.

    Dev teams change, especially when a game goes on for many years.

    Whilst I am sad to see the people going, the games leadership is still there (Matt & Rich) so the game should in theory have the same design path.
    From my time playing MMO games it's normally only when these positions change you see a big change in the games development/vision.

    Dragons were never a TES V exclusive, and I seriously doubt we'll be getting flocks of them in Elsweyr.

    It could be that someone wants to take the game in a new direction, one that people who care about what the fans want don't like and so they have to bow out. I'm not saying this is happening, I'm just throwing it out there as a possibility.

    The departure of a second important member of the team hardly justifies the phrase "yet another key person", especially as there is no suggestion that they were pushed or let go as part of a larger scale reduction in the team. The game's been live for 5 years, in development for a lot longer, and it's inevitable that people will move on from time to time. Like skill and other such game changes, team changes keep the game fresh. No-one is irreplaceable, however much the departing team members may be missed.

    This doesn't seem good. I'm more worried this game will start to fail not only on the performance end, but also the aesthetic of it. People tying lore to racial mechanics are blowhards. Let's just hope they don't start adding garbage from other more popular games, just for cash grabs, and the identity of this game becomes completely toilet material.

    The options for this poll are rly onesided, i choose this one only because its the closest to what i think. But i dont think ppl need to leave so that others can be added. And i think overall ESO is on a good way atm. FPS & Server could be improved, though.

    I have to agree. Heck, I would have to say Paul Sage leaving after the first year the game was live was a more significant change than this.

    I can see a bit better balance in changes without wrobel
    especially I really like most race changes (ofc there are few still in bad/worse state) as now on pts difference between worst and best race for dps (magica or stmaina) is less than 2k and with races in each other it is average 300-500 dps difference

    and as for now we would have huge gap in dps between races and after these changes on pts there would be not huge difference in dps and only with gameplay would be difference between them and only true min/max for max scores runs would use the best race while for more people would be more diversity in races

    Not leaving until there's a reason to leave. the game is popular, fans enjoy it so doesn't sound like its going down the pan. People leave jobs all the time. It's not always a sure sign that the game is doomed. Still if you say it often enough eventually you'll be right.

    Im just thinking fresh air fresh perspectives fresh design choices wrobel loved to merf everything and it just wasnt working the way he wanted. Everything he did came as a double edged sword buff x then nerf why because of x buff making x buff pointless because of y's nerf... maybe with all the people changing maybe we'll see change vs nerf buffs
