When is the optimal time to recast endless hail?

New to stam and on a StamDK. I am tracking only endless hail using Srendarr (spelling). I base all back bar DOTs off of my endless hail cast. I want to keep it close to 100% uptime. Since Hail has a weird cast time/delay, at what point should I be switching to my backbar to recast. At this time, I'm bar swapping at about 1.5 seconds remaining on hail.

md3788✭✭✭Last ticks are the strongest ones (assuming you have vMA Bow) and you have the most weapon damage on DW bar so you want the last tick to happen on front bar, immediately bar swap and recast it.
@Liofa Yes vMA bow. That makes sense to let it run down completely on the Dual Wield bar. Thanks for your response.

✭✭When its gone. Duh. It looks complex but it isnt. Even tho Hail takes like 1.5s to start doing damage on cast, it stops immediately when you recast it. So there is no minigame with casting it 1.5s early to make it rain arrows 100% of the timeEdited by SodanTok on February 6, 2019 7:07PM0
