Many thanks for the stories you gave us to enjoy and make part of the characters we have created and those we have come to know in Tamriel. Best wishes in your future endeavors. May your journeys always bring you the surprises of new knowledge and joy.

"So be the person in Tamriel whom you want to be, coming from the culture you want to role-play, with the belief system that best expresses your character’s personality and background. Whoever you want to be, there’s a place for you here. The lore is yours."

    This is beautiful.

This is without a doubt the biggest nerf to the game so far. Nothing will top this.

I wish him the absolute best in the days to come. Thank you for blessing this series. You will be greatly missed.

For anyone feeling sad remember these words:
'Tis better to have lore'd and lost
Than never to have lore'd at all.

I see the 'I hear Lawrence Schick is leaving' thread, but its not a 'You did such an amazing job' thread, which this can be.

Honestly, lore to me is so interesting. The history with so much detail makes an on the face 2D game feel 3D.

Im a massive history buff myself, and the similarities between events in history and events in the world of Tamriel are often eirely similar, but do I care? No. Why? Because ESO is in itself influenced by the world so heavily - we can see the jealousy, corruption and love in everything, and thats why its relatable and easy to align with situations which ESO has put us the character in. The Lore in this game makes it what it is, just as you said in your leaving paragraphs Lawrence.

You were such a character, as if you had been pulled from the world of Tamriel to teach us (and correct the Devs) on this fascinating construction of imagination. I really think no one suited a job more perfectly, but alas, Tamriel is not as real as the world we live in (unfortunately).

I really wish you all the best you fantastic man.

    You will be missed.

So the rumor was true. That's disappointing. 🙁

I wish him all the best in his next endeavor.
