Heimpai✭✭✭✭✭I have 4 nb‘s only play 2...yes i tested different races and stuff when i started and don’t feel like grinding a dk just for pve when i mainly do pvp (so i just won’t make one)
But if i could class change 2 of my extra nb‘s that just sit there then yeah I’d do it in a heartbeat, but you guys can continue to complain about lack of tanks in pve instead 🤔1 -

So before i disagree with you about its financial benefits... im gonna. make it clear that i do not want a racial token to ever be part of the normal purchase you can get from the crown store.... and you’ll find out for the following reason...i however have no problems ith them giving 1 free one when they come out with a new class for those that might want to make one of their already created characters that particular class (some people have wanted to be a necromancer since launch and made their characters based around that with out there actually being one so i can see them giving away 1 free one with a time limit on how soon they have to use it by)
With that said... an mmo i played before eso was called DC Universe online...
The worst thing they did was introduce power respec tokens where you could change the power your character uses (ice fire mental quantum atomic etc etc.)
Why was this bad? Cause instead of letting it be something fun that people can switch their powers for a change of pace...
They found a way to bank off it.... and what they did soon after the respec power tokens came up.... they started doin power updates ever 3 months or so..
Guess what that did?.. they would take like 2 or 3 powers.. rework them.. then all of a sudden those two or three powers were broken op... and everyone would respec for 3 months.. then the powers that were under performing the next 3 months became broken op... and so on and so forth... they made a ton of money doing this... and it was a lousy thing for the game
Similar to this game where people expect certain classes to do certain roles and wont even take someone who isnt the meta into a trial... in that game if you werent one of the 2 or 3 over performing powers.. you were not welcome in pug groups...
So im only down for a class respec if its only given to us when a new class is introduced... and only allowed to be used within a certain amount of time like.. 30 days you can keep it and decide but once you change it thats it...id even go as far as to say its only allowed to change yout o that new class ...6 -

The game literally throws experience scrolls at us just for logging in. it doesn't take much to level up a character to 50 and regain CP since the One Tamriel update.4 -

I expect the business people were in on this decision.
Zos makes month of many players creating alts, buying that special mount, mount training and more. So it is an assumption they are losing out on a lot of money.1 -

People are unhappy enough about skill and other changes affecting a class as it is, if they started selling class change tokens you can bet they'd increase the frequency and severity of those skill and other changes so that players were constantly having to buy the class change tokens.
Besides, it's just wrong. Major structural changes to the way you play the game shouldn't be available at the drop of a token, and they shouldn't be forced on players as would be the case if group players weren't using that month's particular FOTM class template.3 -

People have been asking for them for years, but there was a surge when they announced warden and I'm sure necromancer is having the same effect.
Almost certainly a lot of players who wanted to play a necromancer (possible in Skyrim) settled for a nightblade but never really loved them. And now they want to make that character a necromancer.
Which I understand. I hate that ESO has classes but the one I'd found least horrible pre-release was warden. Then they abandoned it and I had to settle for sorcerer. I'm only just now approaching the point of getting my wardens caught up on the time-gated grind stuff. I probably just won't bother grinding motifs again for them and that making it impossible to max achievements, not care about any of those.Oreyn_Bearclaw wrote: »Account wide achievements would solve this in an instant...
