Adventurer Ranks

Hello everyone let’s talk about having Adventurer ranks just like Alliance Ranks only for PVE. Basically, the same system as Alliance ranks where it shows the symbol of your rank for doing all types of Dungeons, Trials, and World Bosses to the list. For the point system, you are not rewarded by skill points but by every Adventurer Rank Level you are rewarded with the best potions, poisons, food, drinks, and all types of crafting materials and let’s not forget gold (1k).

To be honest, if we ever have an Adventurer Ranks System should we be able to have an option to hide or show Adventurer Ranks?

And everyone starts off from scratch no matter what rank you are let’ make this an even playing field for all. The idea is where I got this from this Goblin Slayer Adventurer's Guild Rank System.

So what do you guys think about Adventurer Ranks?

Neat idea...but how tf are you going to have this apply retroactivly...also there would need to be a LOT more ranks due to a bulk of the content being pve...on top of that, tying material rewards to said ranks will just make things a bit of a mess to say the least, so I think it should be limited to dyes and titels only.

No more ranks. We have Mages guild ranks, Fighter's guild ranks, Undaunted ranks. Just pick any and name it as Adventurer's Ranks. Really, I don't need any kind of incentive for progression

I have no need for this. At CP600 most people would have enough mats to make or gold to buy any crafted prov they want in any reasonable quantity.

It seems like another 'daily reward' that often drops food, potions, and currencies. Half the things I get from that I destroy, I do not wish to have another thing to destroy.

It's a fine idea, but what does it add other than another number?

The titles, achievements and skins already serve this purpose from a bragging rights pov.

And consumables as rewards.. no thanks I already get loads just from logging in.

Wow, this would be awesome! With the new zone guide coming out this would be a neat addition to platform off that!

So, you want everyone to waste their time re-doing all the content they have already done just to fluff some new ranking system? No thanks.

It would be better if they integrated it into the new Zone Guide feature. Currently on the PTS it is just a meaningless extra tracker on your UI, and doesn't have any functionality that you can't already do by looking at the map, opening your achievements or using an addon, so it's pretty lackluster for a Q1 feature (compared to Homestead or the Levelup Advisor and Outfit system in Dragon Bones).

So they could vastly improve the Zone Guide by adding your ideas or something similar to it  If completion of a zone actually gave rewards like similar completion tracker systems do in other games (like GW2), it would satisfy your adventure system idea, be integrated with an already implemented feature instead of a skill tree or some other rank, and incentivise zone completion via the Zone Guide instead of it being used only by the people who already wanted to do those quests in the first place.

Rewards could be along the lines you mentioned, and similar to the Level-Up Rewards: useful consumables, materials, gold, or perhaps an extra chunk of xp or a piece of set gear from that zone.

I respect your point of view and you made a good statement about the grine expect of it can disagree with you there.

The reward system will be much nicer and better if you can get a full set of gear as a reward instead of one piece, but if it ever happens that will be a true grind.

It would be too OP if they gave out an entire set. If the reward is a once-per-account thing, it removes the incentive to replay the game on alts. If it's for every char, people will do nothing but roll alts and farm Deshaan for the set reward.

    Account

Then it would not be analogous to alliance ranks, which are per character.

thanks for the paying attention and yes your right it's not analogous to Alliance ranks so let's change it to per character then and what would be the results?

The result would be a massive grind - just like alliance ranks! Lol. I love it. I’ve enjoyed grinding for stars and I’m sure some PvE players would like to grind as much on each toon. Many were going to do that anyway.

Sorry, you lost me there. Checkers is really my game!

The first sentence of your original post proposes a PvE equivalent to alliance ranks. Later, you state that they should be per account... When I point out that then they would not be equivalent, you reply asking what would be the result, to which I note that they would be they same, a massive grind. I’m not sure what any of that had to do with chess, after grinding for alliance ranks in ESO I don’t have time for any other games! Lol 😂
