Why am I putting rocks in my bread?

The material requirements for some furnishings borders on ridiculous and makes no sense. I don't remember furniture crafting being this bad when it first came out. What happened?

How many braided breads are you trying to make?

7 mundane runes is not that many ...

The amount isn't the point. The point is there shouldn't be rocks in my crafted food at all. Wax was bad enough. Alchemical resin I can sort of see. But rocks? Who puts rocks in their bread?

Well, if this is going to turn into an RP session ... I argue that rocks are needed to forge the bread pan used for baking the loaf of braided bread.

oh, ZOS wants the cost of a single loaf of bread to be around 3k gold per item. Pocket change for a beggar, I guess. Considering, what I usually find in beggars' pockets.

Rocks needed to grind the resin and wax into a paste to then make the dough?

You're not making bread to eat, it's bread as a furnishing. As such, it needs to be mould-proof, and incapable of any kind of decay. Mundane runes are the ultimate preservative. They make the result inedible, but that's just what you need in a furnishing. It won't disappear when you have guests.

It's to make sure you don't make a ton of furnishings and thereby compete with the ESO's furnishings sales

Probably correct ... probably what the OP doesn’t want to hear.

Rocks come from the mill from the grinding stones. I'm assuming that you are using refined flour and to get the old fashioned"rock" taste you have to add a few stones.
