    Preferably none, the game shouldn't need incentives to log in.

    I'm not a particular fan of any rewards, but if you are going to have them then make them loyalty rewards for long-term commitment to the game, whether as a subscriber or crown store customer.

    IMO ,the only way crates should exist in games are as bonus mystery rewards you get for free, not sold

    No rewards, just THAT money spent on sorting the EU servers out! (and maybe the rest of the money that is spent of marketing and other non-essential things being redirected to the same issues across all the servers)

    Crates, AP, costumes, cosmetic bling pieces. The common theme or focus should be on items that are generally of value to all players. Long-term loyal players with a stable of high level characters gain zero value from any crown consumables (soul gems, poisons, potions, food, xp scrolls. . . ). As one of those players, it kind of feels like a kitten dies somewhere every time I sigh and type DESTROY on something I have no use for and plenty of more important things to hold in my bank.

    It's free stuff; my only complaint is that I have to go through 3 steps to destroy the junk.

    I'd like more horse lessons while we wait for Necromancer, since the horse grind is the worst in game. I'd rather have the crown store motifs as the big once a month bonus than a pet. Crown gems would also be a nice addition, either 2-5 for a daily or a big batch for the big reward once a month.

    If the Dusky Fennec was any indication, I would have just purchased the reward items in the Crown Store anyway. So aside from a little bit of in-game currency, I probably wouldn't lose anything from the system being discontinued.

    But I can't help thinking about why one of my favorite authors isn't on social media. To paraphrase, because people shoot their mouths off in the morning and then by lunch they don't even care anymore. So it's hard to take outrage over daily rewards seriously. It's just noise.

    1. I would prefer for them to remove the daily rewards.

    2. If they don't remove the daily rewards, I would want them to have 2x unique rewards (pets, costumes, motifs, etc) and one higher amount reward (10k or 20k instead of 5k).

    Day 10: Pet
    Day 20: 20,000 gold
    Day 30: Motif page

    Oh, one thing am unhappy with regarding daily rewards is the notification each day. I find it quite distracting and am often in the middle of something. Perhaps just me but that stupid flashing glowing notification bubble distracts me until I can get to it. As luck has it, the notification often goes off in the middle of a group dungeon and is for AP (which I want on a different character). Lol. Surely there must be a less obtrusive way to notify us about something that is going to happen every single day at exactly the same time.

    Smaller rewards could include a LOT more variety. Instead of the same 3 - 4 items repeating over and over, maybe add some others like transmute crystals, writ vouchers, event tickets or other crown consumables. I'd shift things such as riding lessons 100% and 150% xp scrolls and cooldown reducers to the common slots, though they don't have to show up as often as others.

    I'd have 4 guaranteed large rewards per month. No consumables. Costumes, pets, collectibles, large currency rewards like 100k gold or 500k AP, mounts, crown crates or DLC's. Basically keep it interesting and vary it from month to month.

    Favorite Foods and Potions
    https://media.giphy.com/media/3otPoTggaYFNd1FdAI/giphy.gif
    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

    Only the people being vocal. I like daily rewards, but they need something more like GW2, where the rewards are always the same, and if you don't log in for a year (any given time), you come back at the same spot. They need to take their time, and figure out what rewards will always be use, and maybe even figure out a way to turn the exp scrolls into a currency for pets, or something like that. They could even go as far as making the 28th reward something good, like some unique, but still basic pets, mounts, and costumes (for both genders please. This month's costume reward is useless for males that don't want to cross dress).

    Just random crap would be fine. A chair one day and maybe three columbine the next day. I think as it is now they are trying to find things that everyone needs or can use. That is why we get experience scrolls, a pet, things like that. Short list to draw from when they are trying to include things that most players might want.

    If instead they drew from a more diverse pool of items I think it would be better. Spread it around. Sure a lot of players might not need the chair but somewhere in the month there would be something they do need/want.

    Nothing to extraordinary though so people don't feel left out if they can't log in each day. An Emote from time to time might be good.

    I agree with no more potions/poisons. I send potions to new toons if I have room in my bank and poisons I use on my stam sorc when fighting trash in open world content, just to use them up. It would be nice to be able to stack them instead of having different stacks for each week/month.
    The notification is annoying I agree but I've come to a point I can ignore it for a short time, usually end of a boss fight.
    I do like the gold, telvar, and ap we get as I don't pvp often and have only been in telvar areas once. Motif pages, crates, riding lessons are always useful. It would be nice to have 2 or 3 tiers of rewards for how many days we log in.
    I can also see the other side where people don't want rewards at all. Personally I don't see it as detracting from my game play so I don't mind them.

    I'd prefer more collectibles for the rare/starred rewards, including a return of the Crown Crates. Things like Exp scrolls, riding lessons and other consumables have no business being the starred rewards as they just aren't that special. New outfits, hair-do's, accessories, pets, mounts and cool furnishings are all fantastic rewards. I'd also prefer the lesser rewards stop being consumables that most players consider throw-aways and instead stick to various currencies like gold, telvar, and AP. Heck, with the 5-week anniversary event coming up and the many items which will be available via the special vendor, they could even add extra tickets as a log-in reward currency. Themed reward months would also be a fantastic idea. Heck, it's only limited by their imaginations and could be a fantastic system, should they choose to support it better with more creative rewards.

    However, my expectations are quite different. I expect the daily log-in rewards are going to continue getting diluted overall. They'll probably spike and have something epic during the main month of the anniversary event, but then go right back to diminishing rewards each month afterwards. Eventually, once the rewards have lessened to a degree that they muster more serious player outcries, they'll finally decide to get rid of the system altogether and in their usual manner try to spin getting rid of it as a new "feature". Those are my predictions.

    It would be nice to have a wider, more diverse selection, with less repetition over the course of the month.
    Some ideas:

    - a special motif; one page a month, two on holidays, account-bound. If you miss any pieces, you will be able to get them next year from the Impressario, or something);
    - build-your-own transform memento / skin / mount - gather five pieces, one for each month (pieces would come early each month to minimize the risk of people missing on them).
    - crafting plans for discontinued crown store furniture pack items; not all at once, more like a bed in January, a bathtub in March, and so on;
    - minor cosmetics like tiaras, facepaints, lipsticks, eyelashes, contact lenses. Not only there's a large backlog of discontinued cosmetics, but the new ones are extremely easy and cheap to crank out in large quantities.
    - instead of some of the consumables, hand out their value in crown gems. Not too much, about fifteen or twenty a month - but still enough that a dedicated player can save up enough for a 100 gem mount or two 40 gem costumes, if they are so inclined.

    - minor cosmetics like ... contact lenses.

    To the best of my knowledge there have only been three eye cosmetics. The blind left eye, blind right eye, and oracle eyes. These use the facial hair slot, and are all currently available in the store.

    That said, eye cosmetics would be really cool.

    This. It's supposed to be an incentive to have people who aren't logging in TO log in and you know what? The last few months? Underwhelming where I just debate on whether or not this supposed 'house' next month is actually worth it. I've yet to see an actual ZoS post on it (and I'm fully admitting I'm not looking that hard because why bother).

    "bUt ThAt DrEsS-" No. That's not a Valentine's dress, that's a potato sack. If you're going to have login rewards to pull in people from other games- Put the previous effort back into it or just take it out all together. Own up to the "better rewards" like you guys said and stop telling these;

    I love pets, costumes, the adorable guar mount. I like the XP scrolls, am ambivalent about potions. Poisons and TelVar are useless to me, and AP is borderline. I'd love riding lessons, smaller cosmetics like hairstyles, lipstick to be added. Motifs might be nice too.

    Something unique, like a hairstyle, hat, pet or a costume that is only available via login rewards for at least 6 months. Then it can go on the crown store for people who missed it.
    So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

    So some variety would make people happier?

    I can't speak for others of course, but it would make me happier. I tried to suggest things that ZOS might actually do. Sure, I'd love 25 crates a month, but that seems unreasonable. A few crates here or there would be something I'd like to see. I'm not going to ask that all consumables be gem convertible as that seems unrealistic. I would put the brakes on the crown soul gems and poisons and shift other crown consumables into those slots. Starting each month with 2 crown purple food also feels like a bit of a letdown. I'd avoid doing that on a regular basis.
