I'm having trouble completing this quest and I'm hoping someone can help. I'm at the stage where you have to destroy the artwork the Argonian builds. There's a quest marker above the area but it won't show me a prompt to actually destroy it.

All I can interact with is the NPC and the scroll on the ground. Is it bugged or is it something else?

    I ended up having to drop the quest and pick it up again. :/ The quest item at the end appeared that time.

    Just to add a bit late here, logging out and logging back in works too

    Years later, and this bug is still a thing. I've so far I'm on attempt number 3 and there's still no item for me to interact with once I pick up the hammer.

    i had to do this on 2 alts, but it did fix it once relogged
