Sometimes i unsub. Then i get my inventory cluttered with craft materials. I can get stuff from my bank, but can't put stuff on it. So it gets hard shuffeling armor around. I got enough coffers and chests but it still is not enough.

So mostly i resub after a month of trying to live without it.

Edit: Plus sometimes i need to go to a zone i don't own.

If you're willing to spend a Guild Slot for it, make a little guild and recruit members in the new player zones. All you need is 10 to open up a Guild Bank with an extra 500 slots. New players don't usually stick around long, so you can get a personal bank this way in no time. It's an easily workable alternative to the crafting bag.

But if they leave the guild? Do i lose the stuff, or can i just don't put more into it?

@Knootewoot If your guild dropped below 10 members, you would be unable to put more stuff in the guild bank, but can still pull out stuff already in it, at least until you get your membership back up. It's easy enough to avoid by recruiting more than you need.

A week's worth of zone adverts in new player areas a few months back got me 100+ members. It's been almost three months since then and membership had only dwindled down to 80 with at almost 40 that have been inactive this whole time. Unlike real guilds that drop inactive players for new members, those inactives are exactly what you want as they'll keep your minimum number stable.

500 slots of extra bank space is well worth it and let me cut the cord on my sub as I no longer need worry about the crafting bag.

There is no correct answer to this. It depends on you, how you play the game, and what you value.

This is a very personal question. Before the crafting bag, I didn't think so. I just decreased my play time by taking a lot of breaks due to inventory management being so bad. But I consider it worth it now so long as there is content I am in the mood to play and I am playing regularly.

Inventory management is the sole reason I sub.

As with all such questions, it also depends upon how much money you have to spend on recreation.

If I wasn't comfortable with the DLC dungeons, I might actually stop subbing though for the sake of random vet dungeons.

With the amount I play, the fact I bought all content outright (save the dungeon dlc's) and what it offers me for the money, it isn't worth it to me the vast majority of time. Doesn't mean it can't be worth it to others though.

I picked this one because it was the only no option, but I'd specifically say it's not worth it for me, I can completely understand why some other people might want it.

I buy all the DLC I want out-right, it works out cheaper that way. I don't need the crafting bag or double bank space because without crafting materials my bank would be almost empty (or still full of treasure maps and trash food/drinks I'm keeping because I have no reason to clear them out and I might get around to using them one day). I do like the ability to dye costumes and the double furniture limit but I don't need access to those all the time so the free trials or a very occasional 30 day sub works (and if I could buy less than 30 days I'd get that instead).

And the subscription model simply doesn't work for me. At any given time I can't tell you what I'll be doing over the next 30 days so I could easily end up paying for time I will never get to use. People often compare a sub to buying a cup of (IMO very over priced) coffee and for me it'd be like buying it, drinking a little bit and then having to throw it away because something came up and now it's gone cold.

$15 for a month of entertainment is NOTHING. I would pay $15 a month for the crafting bag.

Poll incomplete. You need an option for "if you are a crafter." When I'm not focused on crafting, I don't sub. The only reason I sub is for the crafting bag, or if I feel like spending $15 on crowns anyway.

For a truly active player it is worth it, but it is not required.

A couple years ago I almost started purchasing DLCs since it is less expensive to purchase the DLCs that subscribe (if you do not take into account the crowns that come with subscription). Even more so since crowns go on sale. However, news of the crafting bag came out so I changed my mind. The crafting bag is very nice and reduces inventory management for me.

But for others, they are just fine and happy buying the DLCs. Of course anyone who is not buying DLCs is not as active of a player.

since I've a serious crafter, play a few alts, and am not ever going to log in if I get bogged down managing inventory rather than actually playing the game... the sub is mandatory or I stop playing as the game becomes a pain in the ass

When I played Bets and soon after launch bag space was a huge issue. Like many people I just created alts as mules to carry/store stuff. This can still be done, so the extra storage with ESO+ is useful it can be worked around.

Access to DLC etc. These can all be bought either using crowns or cash.

XP scrolls are often given as a daily login reward and there are also the 'Training' sets of armour & weapons. So the extra XP you get for ESO+ is also of limited use.

However when you combine everything you get with ESO+ Then I feel it is of value. You get 1650 Crowns now for £8.99 a month which is cheaper than the cost of 1500 crowns bought separately. You also get exclusive offers and free items in the crown store.

Conclusion - While ESO+ is nice to have it is not really needed.

Yes I know I voted Secretly Mandatory but I feel it is so simply because of the cost of the crowns being cheaper. Just a personal opinion.

BTW, ESO+ is far from secretly mandatory as in SWTOR.

SWTOR one cannot do raids unless a sub.
They cannot wear epic or better gear unless a sub or purchased a epic gear unlock (do not think that includes legendary).
Limited access to PvP unless a sub.
Cannot access some chat and cannot send items to others via mail or trade.
    Cannot access guild banks
Much lower XP rate compared to what ESO does.

So ESO without a sub is so much more playable. If you actually play.

Its worth it because the access to all the DLC u get, and the bank space it gives u.
I refuse to pay for ESO+ as Zeni does not care about the game performance, and have stay quiet on the matter for long time now.

It really depends on how much money you want to invest in the game.

For me, the craft bag would be really nice...but I just live without it,
and then this game costs half as much. :)

Actually, if you can live without the craft bag, it can easily be free to play after the initial purchase. Admittedly, that initial purchase is cheap as dirt, if you do your shopping properly. My second account is this way. Something like $15 for the game back in 2015 and not a penny spent on that account since then. Yes, I have quite a few hours played on that account.
