Opinions are mixed. I'd say most say it's very weak, while most of the positives are "well it's free so who cares"

Value-wise, they aren't that bad (especially for people who are still leveling some characters). Boring is the right word to describe them. Except for the dress, there's hardly anything that would make people go "yay" (and it looks like half of the people don't even want the dress either).
The worst thing is how they repeat the same items over and over, only increasing their amount. I mean - when 25 tri-pots are already useless to me due to having other sources, then giving me 50, 75 or 100 tri-pots each following week obviously won't make me any more excited and eager to log in, right?

Anyway... I just logged in and guess what is the zone chat speaking about? How lousy the rewards are. ;) It seems to be a big topic today. :p

When I looked at it last night I didn't see anything there to motivate me to login everyday this month

When I started a few months ago it was multiple crown crates and good rewards every month and it made me login at least once a day, now it’s just whenever I feel like it. Idk why those things just disappeared altogether.

Disappointing for sure. Free stuff though so I will take it.

I am surprised they have not added Undaunted Keys as a daily reward. Those are better than the poisons and repair kits.

I think they made it up by giving players three race change tokens for the new update...

In various versions of this topic, I keep seeing "nothing to make me log in this month".

Is that the only reason some people log in? To get a few rewards? Then what, after they get the reward they go off and play a different game?

I dunno about those people, but if playing the game wasn't the reason I logged in, then I would uninstall and play something else completely.

Yeah, its pretty bad. I mean its still free stuff, but the idea of ensuring that I log in every day based on these particular rewards is pretty laughable.

Honestly, the only thing I care about from rewards are collectibles, currency, and tripots. The rest is pretty much trash as far as I am concerned anyway, so not really missing much.

My quote from the other thread mentioned above.

"Its funny Zos acts like they've had a player boom.
But its just their daily log in rewards. People in my guilds have made up to 10 alternate accounts to claim 100k on each.

These "Daily Rewards" are why their numbers look so good.
They should put more effort into them"

    I don't want the dress.
There are several things I got for 'free' that I don't want, to the point that I'd buy the 'skill' to erase them from my account's database.
Because that's how much I just don't want them.

There are recipes/pets/mounts/ I don't want clogging up my database.
I hate having to scroll thru acres of entries I just don't want so I can get to the few things I actually want to access....

I'm actually happier not having unique rewards in the dailies, because then when I can't log in because of my job or family stuff it doesn't worry me (and no it doesn't put me off logging in when I can - I log in because I want to play the game, not just to collect rewards I'd never use anyway if I wasn't playing).

But some more variety would be nice. Maybe they could include some of the different types of food, drinks and potions we can get/craft in-game, some AP for the PvPers, maybe even crafting materials, furniture (you can sell it if you don't do housing). It doesn't need to be anything amazing, but it does look a bit dull with rows of the same stuff over and over.

I've been thinking for a while it would be really nice if there was a way to mark certain collectables as favourites so those stay at the top of the list.

Hair styles are my main one, because I bought the pack from the crown store but each character only really uses 4 or 5 of them, and I have to sort through the whole list each time to find them. Then I can never remember if it's Maximum Ponytail, Heroic Hind-braid, Orsinium Ponytail or Braided Ponytail which looks good on that character. But it's the same with all the collectables, especially with the free stuff that comes from in-game rewards, login rewards, free crown crates etc. where it may be something none of my characters will ever use.

The only one I actually couldn't stand was a spider pet - then I contacted Support and they were kind enough to remove it from my account. The others I don't mind having there, but it would be nice if they didn't bury the stuff I actually want to use.

if you dont want them, dont claim them, simples.

As i am levelling up around 4 or 5 toons, those xp scrolls will come in handy.

I still have almost 400 tri-pots from last month I haven't used. What am I going to do with the rest of these? I guess give each of my alts 200 and call it a day.

It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't max out in stacks of 200. If ZOS is determined to give us an infinite amount of this stuff, it should stack infinitely in one slot.

One can not skip a daily reward, and take the one that follows.
If I opt to not take the 3rd daily reward, I do not get access to the rest of the month after that.

I think everyone can agree its cool to get free stuff, it kinda makes you feel like this company cares and they are invested in the community especially with how expensive crown crates are among other things. But what started off as a good idea with a few things to get excited about has no become just the junk you get in crates that you sell back for crowns just no real value. I guess one mans junk is another treasure but honestly is just like getting materials from hirelings at this point. Why is it so hard to toss in a couple of crates or an undaunted key something everyone holds value too.

I like how there isn't anything big...when there's some big reward that makes me feel like I should at least log in just to get it, I end up logging in when I don't want to and it makes ESO feel like a chore, and then i just stop playing. Who cares about items in a game that doesn't feel fun. The experience scrolls'll be nice for levelling alts during double experience events, and the tripots are nice since crafted tripots are so expensive. Tel var is cool too. But if I don't get them, who cares! Makes it easier just to enjoy the game for what it is, whenever I feel like it.

Also, pretty sure the daily login reward thing is primarily there to create daily login habits and increase revenue...so I for one appreciate a break from the sense of ever-encroaching psychological manipulation to get me to spend more time and money.
