GiggsSoul ShrivenI've been trying for about 7 hours and have done a multitude of things. The real kicker is that I can login on a crappy laptop on the same network as my desktop PC. and for some unknown reason it's not working on the PC!0 -
Sophex✭It just kind of sucks after a day of work and coming home to general tech issues like this. I'm a patient person and I'm sure it will be fixed tomorrow. Would be awesome if somehow it was fixed in the next hour or two so I could play just a bit.
P.S. I've tried restarting the computer, relaunching the client, and reseting the internet connection.0 -
I had this problem. I ran the game through the Launcher but I had to turn auto-update off. After a quick "Repair" under Game Settings from the Launcher it ran fine.0 -
Moonraker✭✭✭✭All I can say is that I have had no problems logging to the Europe Megaserver this evening. It was not logging soon after the update so maybe if you are on the NA server it is the same thing. Probably just loads of players updating and trying to log and jamming the server.
I did get that when I tried to login at first and the server appeared to be up but I got that error. Then 20 minutes later the update actually started. Once it had actually updated my client I was able to log from there a bit later.0 -
Sophex✭After the first auto-repair when I logged in at first, it looks like it tried to download a patch but never actually downloaded everything at first.
After manually repairing it, the issue seems to have been fixed. I've been playing for the past two-ish hours.0 -
I have the same problem. I never had any problems with this game UNTIL 1.02 patch went live.0

In your launcher, click the little wheel above the news. A drop down will appear, and then click the repair button. Even if you logged in and it did its own "auto repair," it sometimes doesn't work. I know it didn't for me, but doing this did.

I think the problem is that i is able to connect to the login server even before it has been updated. Then it gives the message (really it shouldn't be able to connect until it properly updates to avoid this and potential issues if you can) The Repair should then see it isn't correct and update it.After the first auto-repair when I logged in at first, it looks like it tried to download a patch but never actually downloaded everything at first.
