Necromancer Weapon - Existing element or new element?

For the Necromancer class, has there been any indication of the weapon damage type? Will there be a new element? I'm thinking for Magicka, as it stands now there are Fire and Lightning staffs for damage. Frost is mostly for tanking. Physical will likely be for stamina using a two handed weapon (I think the 2h axe has scythe graphics). Maybe it'll be based on your own health and you have to use a restoration staff...

✭If you ask me Necromancers should have "Life Essence" magic. IE: Life taking and Life Giving ESO will never do it though.

What do you mean? It's been done. Try out the Nightblade class sometime.
