I would love to see a wardrobe system introduced in game, so all those high end armor/weapon skins can be saved and viewed, rather than have them take all my bank space, also being able to preview armor/weapons I have not collected yet would be awesome, this way I know what I want to work towards.
Separate storage for crafting materials would be wonderful, as there are so many surely another tab in your bank for them would be easy enough to add (gw2 does this well), and the ability to send crafting mats direct to the bank from anywhere in the world, as there is nothing worse than having to travel all the way back when in the middle of a quest.
I know some hardcore fans won't like this but I am a little ocd when it comes to collecting, and the thought of running past all those items and not collecting them, just makes me shudder.
These little things would just make life a little easier in game.
I'm not comparing games either btw, as both have their pros and cons, i'm just hoping that if enough people want to see this maybe, just maybe a dev will read the post and put the idea forward. Who knows.

I agree with having an alternate bank tab for mats. Currently with shared bank and leveling some professions (provisioning anyone?) i find there is a lack of space. Im mot too sure on sending to bank directly from the world tho, yes it makes life soooo much easier but i dunno just doesnt feel right lol and i would love to be able to preview armour in the game , i dunno tjat i want to be able to view high end armour i have not collected yet, kinda takes mystery away when u get that peoce of hear and go oooooooo awesome or yuk looks awful. I would agree about high end gear stats and drops being known tho so as you say you can see what to work towards.

My opinion is probably impopular, but I like the fact that you cannot just hoard materials in a special crafting bag - you keep what you use and leave the rest for other players. It helps making the game last longer too because you cannot just rush through quests, needing to make sure your adventurer's backpack carries only what you need to make room to pick up things.

By the way, slots have been increased since beta, so it's not as difficult as it may otherwise have been to manage your materials. I posted about it on http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/71853/inventory-and-bank-size-increased

I agree that previewing armors and weapons would be great, but I'm counting on UESP having it up sooner or later -in all previous ES games, their gallery is my reference.

Use an alt for storing items for long time use, note that unlike WOW and many other MMO alts can use bound items inherent from main, so if you find some low level epic loot give it to an alt.

I collect everything I find of mats and stuff in guild bank.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

It's not about rushing through the game, it's more so I can enjoy the game and take my time, without constantly having to stop and return to a bank to store things, and then spend so much time managing the storage I have. A crafting storage is purely to place materials on, it does not affect quests at all.

I understand what you mean, but I'm so used to managing my inventory on previous games that to me it feels part of what Elders Scrolls is.

What would help greatly, in my opinion, would be to increase the size of item stacks from 100 to maybe 500. Then if you're a crafter (which my characters are) you could gather a sizeable amount of something without it taking up several slots.

    Sort of?

See, ever since Morrowind, TES games have been moddable. Highly so....and I'm mystified as to why Zenimax didn't allow cosmetic only armor/clothing/weaponry modding.

It's a simple matter to keep combat stats and computations server side. Literally dozens of F2P games do it nowadays, so the tech is out there.

Before anyone says "transparent walls" or "invisible bushes" ......I'm suggesting opening up ARMOR CLOTHING AND WEAPONRY ONLY. Not world textures.

But, it's Zenimax's game, not mine. Their choices, even if I don't understand them. :)
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

Maybe just to clarify, this isn't about modding or swapping outfits, it's about storage.
If your a bit ocd about collectibles, and you want to make all the different armor styles, the last thing you want is to have to then destroy those armor sets due to running out of space to put them, the wardrobe lets you store them and view them, mix and match to see what style you like etc.
I know there are mods out there, but, not being that technical, for me I get a little concerned about downloading/adding third party mods, as you just don't know what's in those files, and please don't get me wrong i'm sure most modders are very trustworthy, but it only needs one dodgy one to infect your laptop and/or gain access to private data.

I would really appreciate an inspect and/or preview option in Eso and i'm not to fond of the colour's on the gear, they seem to bland at endgame. Also the quality will change the colour of your armour as well so you have to have the same quality armour or it all ends up looking weird and not meshing

Certainly this game needs a 'vanity' system for cosmetic gear, more so than many MMOs given the legacy of the TES series and the reason many will be playing it.

The bank implementation is pitiful, most MMOs (and indeed off-line games) got away from list-based systems a decade ago, but it seems Bethesda and Zenimax are still living in a console-centric design silo. If we have to have lists then I agree, tabs are hugely needed.

'Straight to bank' storage though I don't agree with, inventory management is something that should need some thought and if you really can't leave junk behind then there needs to be some 'penalty' to allow you to keep everything you see: after all, it's the reason inventory space is limited in the first place.

Junk? I'm talking crafting mats here not junk. And the straight to bank storage would be just for those mats, although I don't consider this aspect as important as just having the storage for mats and skins. :)

    Firstly, you did compare games,
So saying you didn't is dumb.
1 name drop of another game that you use to prove a point or make an example with is comparing.

    Secondly, yes.
I think this game could do with a little polish in a few areas in regards to loot.
    Yes for materials.
Yes for outfitting, like the weapon swap.
Although the outfitting thing will probably be done by an addon at some point.

Comparing games, as in overall game not small details of a game (but fair enough maybe I could of worded it better), like I said, both have pros and cons, what I did not want to do was end up with a thread comparing all the good and bad points of both games.
And I also find it very rude to call people names, it's unnecessary and needless, if you wish to take every word literally that's fine but don't be abusive about it, it takes nothing to have some courtesy and manners, and it makes the forums a nicer place.

I would love to see a vanity tab. There's a good deal of armor I was sad to let go because of how awesome they looked.
Compounded because the blue armor I found looked ridiculous but had 30 more armor to it :(

Please yes with the separate storage for crafting!! I don't care if I have to go back to the bank to use it. I'm tired of playing musical chairs logging in and out of characters and mules moving around crafting mats to the right one.

I don't think they want to ease our storage space problems; I also think they want obtaining/crafting gear with both the right look and stats to be a sort of minigame, so I doubt we'll get a wardrobe system. A way of previewing armor, though, would make a lot of sense. It will only whet our appetite for the stuff we don't yet have, which is good.

Similarly, I doubt we'll see separate storage for crafting mats since storage is one of the main gold sinks in the game. Sending them directly to the bank - yeah, it would be convenient. Too convenient, in my opinion. I like gathering too, but that just means I have to put up with the need for frequent trips back to town (actually, it probably will help keep towns populated).

I can be swayed of having a separate tab for mats but only if those mats actually take up space in the regular bank. So even if you have the tabs you need to have the proper bank space to use them.

Separate tabs for crafting - yes.
Direct to storage - no >:)
Wardrobe... some kind of a personal wardrobe, meaning armors that you actually possessed, would be nice. Crafting preview would also be good.
