Indeed, especially at this time of year, servers wouldn't need so much cooling, which would also lower the maintenance costs. That could lead to the fact that ZOS could reduce their #OurElderScrolls t-shirt prices

I haven't seen any indication from ZOS to sort this problem out. Obviously repeating the downtime again and again does not help. Sad.3 -

My reasons are slightly different, but yes. I'll renew my subscription when I know for sure that Bosmers won't lose their stealth bonus. Until then, no more ESO+ and no more crown purchases. No preordering Elsweyr either. Server issues are just one more layer.
We can't play the game because server issues, and if we can they're removing my favourite mechanic from my favourite character anyway. I'm not a masochist, I don't pay to be punished, thank you very much.1 -

My reasons are mainly the servers, and how EU seems to be treated as a less important version of NA. I don't think I'll renew it unless they actually change the EU server location to a decent place. My other reasons are the state of Magdens in PvE and the focus on mechanics that make healers obsolete in many of the newer dungeons.| PC / EU |

The EU server is located in one of the best data centers in whole Europe. The lags have nothing to do with the connection, it's the actual hardware/software running them old horses and of course the dirty programming by ZOS (some call it spaghetti code).
But I agree, there need to be actions on their ZOS side to improve it.0 -
