Practical/Realistic armor styles for RP

Hey all, I'm trying to not make my character's armor look silly so I'm looking for motifs and other outfit styles that look practical and realistic, I'm not sure if there is anything close to padded armor but that would be cool too

I like Breton heavy armor for a decent plate armor look.

I don’t think there’s any padded armor styles, you might try some of the thieves guild or dark brother hood stuff. I can’t remember off the top of my head but the abahs watch medium or light style might be close to that.

I'll check these out, thanks! although problem with thieves guild and dark brotherhood motifs is that most of them look more like leather armor than anything else

Breton medium takes many common dyes matte so it’s less leathery

Outlaw is decent but the chest armor often has a thief logo on it, the legs have pouches though which is nice

Malacath medium chest lacks the hip flaps and is a soft looking leather.

Most likely you’ll need to mix and match with styles and dyes to find an outfit that works for you

I would recommend checking the various costumes available in the game too.
