How much of this game can be played with just 2 players?

blaineswing_ESO
My wife and I do almost everything together. She is a shy girl and doesn't really talk to other people when she doesn't have to. I am more social than her, so I can drag her into randoms for group content, but if we can 2 man stuff, then he would prefer it that way.

So, how much can we get away with buy 2 manning things vs. Full scale group content?

Thank you, guys and girls. =)

In truth almost all of it except trials. ESO has a mind boggling amount of content

Most 4 man dungeons can even be done with just 2 with the right gear and knowledge

All the dungeons can be previewed through YouTube as well. You'll see the mechanics, and can then plan ahead.

It is a rare mind indeed that can render the hitherto non-existent blindingly obvious. The cry 'I could have thought of that' is a very popular and misleading one, for the fact is that they didn't, and a very significant and revealing fact it is too. - Douglas Adams

A lot of it can be done by two people depending upon your CP level. I wouldn't be too worried about using Group Finder and having to talk a lot. Unless something needs explaining the most I ever have is a hello and thank you for group with an occasional "is everybody ready?". I have whole groups go through not saying a word. One thing I do since I play solo is if I'm on the instance quest I ask if someone to stick around so I have time to turn it in. If you two double up that won't be an issue.

If your cp cap i can see you doing most content in game up to some vet dungeons.

Everything save perhaps a few vet dungeons, 4 man arenas and 12 man trials. A team of two that is well thought out can get through most 4 man content. For example, I have a body that heal/tanks and I go as a self sufficient DPS. Not to much that we can't clear. There are really only a handful of mechanics in 4 man vet content that arent all that practical with two people. And if you both learn the support roles, group finder is also a very viable option. A good tank and healer can carry some pretty terrible DPS through most things.

My wife and I have duoed all the original 16 dungeons and about half of the other non-DLC ones in normal mode. One night we decided to try COH2 for the first time and FG2 for almost the first, expecting to fail on both of them, and in fact did fine. I think we'd need to get better at DPS to do the netch fight in DS2, however; we've never bothered to figure out successful mechanics for Keeper Imiril in BC2 or Malubeth in Wayrest 2; and she's never been in the mood to even try CoA2.

And we are far from elite gamers. E.g., we're grandparents, and we weren't particularly quick in our reflexes when we were young.

My husband and I do most of the content on our own. My sorcerer is pretty tanky so I can tank and heal us, while his NB can dish out a lot of dps. We have done some of the easier Vet dungeons, all normal and some arena's on our own with little to no problems.

I love the fact that we can do the majority of content as a duo, we don't mind grouping up of course, but I enjoy it more when it's just the two of us.

If the two of you are good enough to handle damage, tanking, and self healing then you can do everything up to a lot of vet dungeons.
