How come there is no hirelings for Jewlery Crafting and Alchemy?

I've always wondered why there was hirelings for all craftings except alchemy and now same as Jewlery..

    if you had a hireling for those would you go out and pick herbs or mine mats; I see it as a masked attempt to make us go out in the 'world'. I enjoy just taking a 'walk-about' just picking herbs and such actually visiting places I never would otherwise.

    Alchemy I don't know why they never added one, jewellery crafting I would assume it's because they wanted to keep the values higher and people getting 15 mails a day of materials would lower them quite a bit.

    Come on. Mats isn't hard to farm, due to higher population it is respawning very fast.
    Unless you are doing this on an industrial base (15 crafters), picking up stuff while running around will supply plenty enough mats.

    Trust me you would. As alchemy requires so much more raw materials and nods drop so much less, that no hireling will cover ones demand. Honestly i think alchemy is a bit broken in that drop rates are too low and demand is too high (its consumable after all) so prices on some mats are just too high. I see that many newcomers cant just afford to use potions when training rotation or doing dungeons. Just compare to food, which is easily affordable by anyone

    And actually, there is an Alchemy hireling in the form of Dark brotherhood passive, "poisons" option. Why there is no Jewelry hireling is beyound me

    Alchemy kinda/sorta has one in Shadowy Supplier (Dark Brotherhood), but you'll generally only get ingredients geared towards poison crafting.

    I would think, given alchemy's prevalence in all things Tamrielic that it wouldn't be that hard to find someone to go out once or twice a day to pick the occasional flower.

    JC wouldn't hurt, either, given that you have to grind grains, to ounces, to stacks even for the simplest ring or necklace.
    Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

    Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS

    I guess Alchemy didn't get one because there isn't (wasn't until Summerset) rare or premium mats like the other crafts, so three skillpoints would be a lot to spend for little returns.

    As for jewellery, they've been insisting on making everything about it as hard as possible so it's not surprising they wouldn't let us have easy mats!

    Useful nodes like cornflower and lady's smock almost never spawn it seems. But things like dragonthorn are all over the bloody place.

      I'm out in the world anyway, so I am mining everything i see, but it would be nice to have a hireling for the extra daily mats, or if I can't log on for any reason. The alchemy hireling would be nice, because I've only worked on gear professions so far, and building up a stockpile for when I do decide to work on it would be great.
