If we are offered a free race change token, shouldn't we also get a free name change token?

(When I made certain char, I of course did not realize ESO quality of life is not like in other mmos I had played where one just goes to barber/appearance modifier and pays some ingame currency for minor mods. Even those require expensive separate tokens for race and name change.)0 -

Well yes, you can, but it's a bit of a waste. If you want just to change a haircut, you're better off buying the "Cosmetic Pack: Hair Styles" for 1K crowns, an one-time purchase which unlock all character creation hair account-wide in your Collections (even the ones that aren't available to certain races in the character creation - with obvious compatibility exceptions, e.g. you can't put Argonian horns on an Imperial and such).

Magilacuddy✭✭It's common sense you should get a name change with the race change token. especially since Argonian has been one of the top races for a very long time. I don't think a kahjiit called "lusty-argonian-maid" works as a kahjiit. Obviously, nobody has the epic name "lusty-argoninan-maid" but you see the point.
And since we are talking about cost involved, it cost Zos nothing to be a bit fairer. considering so many people have race changed from other races, only to have things shifted about directly with the meta and want to change them back, they should be fair and give people the name change token too.
In all honesty, I see this "balancing" as more of a "shift of the meta" than anything, that serves little purpose.
As a poster has pointed out, in the past when balancing has been in effect, respecing becomes extremely cheep in game, however, race change cost real money - people are out of pocket with this update, simples - as consumers we have the right to ask for more for our money, or simply leave.0 -

Magilacuddy✭✭Something I just realised when I was having my bath (I do my best thinking in the tub) It's not just about name changes and race changes.
When I created my alts, I had a specific class/race/build in mind. now I have many alts with races which potentially clash with what I had in mind when I created them - this sucks.
And another though, I am not a min maxer, I am barely a good player, average at best, I pick the most compatiable race because I need those passives to be supportive of my class and build to get by. Based on current passives, how many Kajiit Magica Sorc Damage Dealers do you think exist in ESO? or even a Dragonknight Stamina Tank High Elf? I would imagine very few. And I also imagine it is so few because no one wants to disadvantage themselves from the start. No one deliberately picks stupid combinations. They may have a few thrust upon them now. And if like me, they would have maxed out there horse stats on what I called "future alts" cause not many have time to play 15 chars, but want to grow them anyway.
Suffice to say, there are many players who's accounts are being degraded by the changes. and we are only getting a wee race change token as compensation. That is not only unfair but its poor business practice by Zos that will more than likely cost them in the end.0
