I dont understand. Doesnt everything have a cast time? Wouldn't the bonus apply to everything?

eco_TR✭✭✭Nope, everything does not have a cast time. Most of the skills are instant cast. You can check on the skill definition at the top (ps4).
e.g. Templar jabs/sweep , solar flare, radiant has cast time
or the soul strike ulti from soul magic skill lineIn light, there is darkness.

Every skill has cast time, Then the type of cast time regarding instant or channel or a number representing the time it takes.
Those skills you mention have the term: "Cast Time" directly infromt of the term "Instant"
Not trying to be difficult here. But the working on the set is confusing as hell.0 -
thoughtseize✭✭I don't know what's confusing about it tbh. Does it take a second or something to actually cast? Then it has a cast time. Instant takes no time to cast because it's just instant.

eco_TR✭✭✭You cannot animation cancel channeling (cast time) skills and you are vulnerable to attacks during channeling. It has a clear long animation and your damage is not instant, but during the whole attack animation. That is the difference, anyway, I am not going to debate on that.
Your answer is:
Just go with the tool tip. The skills with channeling time in the tool tip are the skills soul shine set buffs.
