Do physical and spell resistance affect dots?

I know bleeds bypass resistances but how about other dots? From a pvp perspective.

Yes, except for bleed and oblivion dmg.

Yes sir, you can confirm it by aplying a DOT with and without a penetration buff (on self) or debuff (on target) and comparing de damage done.
