really low fps in summerset/alinor

Ok so I don´t know in what section put this so ... game works really smooth in most areas like I am always getting around 40-50 FPS even in populated areas like Wayrest etc. I never go under 35 but everytime I go to summerset and especially cities here (Alinor) FPS drops to 20-25. Anyone knows how to fix it or I need to wait for some patch to fix this?

    Would be helpful to know your hardware, game settings, add-ons running etc.
    I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

    There is a difference noticable between basegame and later added zones, which are designed with more details and stuff.

    no summerset is somehow bugged ... i don´t have this issue in any other zone even if its dlc zone ... i even find some guides on the internet for tweaking the usersettings to improve performance and gues what ... my overall fps in all zones has raised by 5-10 but in summerset no difference still crappy 25 at most :D i also read a lot of discussions with people having same issue and i guess its a known issue ... zos really need to fix this it is really annoying ...

    Low FPS zones aren't just the newer ones. Some areas in Stros M'kai (one of the original zones) bring my FPS to its knees. Like 15-20 FPS. But only in specific areas within the zone. The rest of the zone, I'm maxing out FPS. I got a nice system. Hard-wired to a 250Mbit, sub-100ms ping ISP.

    So, I rarely go to Stros M'kai anymore. And I tend to stay away from any of the other zones where this happens. It's too frustrating to put up with for more than a couple minutes. Especially when I know it's not a problem on my end. Plenty of "normal" zones to play happily in for the rest of muh days. :)

    Yeah I had this in Stros M´Kai too in some areas, but that fixed tweaking usersettings and now I am getting at least 35 - 40 ... tweaking usersettings fixed fps drop in all areas except for summerset :D

    Votan's Adaptive Settings add-on can be very helpful to dynamically lower draw distance and some settings in areas where fps dips.

    I have this issue too and only in summerset, I go from 30-35 to 20-25. Don't know if I'm losing 10 frames or 30%ish.

    Specs: i5 7200u undervolt, Constant 3.1ghz(no Power throttle)
    HD graphics 620 mobile
    12gb ram 2400mhz, so 8 in dual channel mode, 4 in single

    Settings
    1366x768
    Medium textures
    high rendering
    Particles at minimum
    Distance of view at 35
    Shadows off
    Grass on
    Everything else off or minimum.

    To get more frames I could just turn grass off, but that still doesn't do much in Summerset since that grass does not go away. Also, I prefer to play at 30-35 with grass, over 35-40 without.

    Why Summerset does this, I dont know, but it does.

    6-13 is my average everywhere.
    I would really like fps at 50.

    Wow. I never have those issues anywhere. And.... I have 2k+ ms ping....

    Boy that has to be a real bummer.

    another funny thing ... as I said tweaking usersetting helped a lot in most zones including Stros M´Kai ... I had like 45-50 fps in the problematic areas (bridge view on the city) so today I was harvesting there again and went to that bridge and I had like 25 fps again :D ... so I quit the game opened usersetting I DIDN´T change anything in there closed it started game again and all of a sudden had again 45 fps standing in the very freakin spot ... just wtf :D
