In Brazil, it ends up being about 60BRL, equivalent to US prices, give or take, but our salaries are about the same, face value, meaning subs here cost the very equivalent of an American paying 60USD. Can't sub like this. Proportionate to buying power, it's 4x as expensive! Please, regionalize prices for sub. Please! Even if you charge us 50-60% it'll still be expensive but at least it'll be afordable!

AUS vs US dollar. The prices vary depending on the exchange rate of the Australian dollar vs the green Back. If the AUS dollar is high, its better for those of us living in Australian and New Zealand. If the AUS dollar drops vs the green back, we pay more.

Can't you bypass your counties overpriced package using Paypal? My brother had a friend doing this to pay extremely low prices compared to his country in another game.

I don't see that Brexit has any relevance to this, even accepting the premise behind your question - i.e. that it will actually happen on 30th March.

Steam shows us 56BRL I think. Been a while since I last checked. But then there are taxes on top so maybe we don't have a Brazil price indeed.

Monthly subs were around since 2014. They were compulsory in 2014. As far as I remember, the first month was charged in Euro rates, then swapped to the Australian dollar.

There's honestly no point trying to figure this out - even looking at one country, Canada, their pricing makes no sense. I'm on PS4 and get this:

    5500 Crowns = $39.99
    21000 Crowns = $199.99

    But like... 5500 x 4 (at $39.99) = 22000 crown for 159.96

You literally get 1000 crowns more for $40 cheaper if you just buy the 5500 pack 4 times instead of buying the biggest pack.

In fact for $200 you can buy the 5500 pack FIVE times and get 27,500 crowns for the exact same price as the 21,000 pack.

Their pricing model makes absolutely NO sense. Forget other countries, it's in complete disarray even outside of other factors. They just pull prices out of their butts and hope nobody notices. They don't have calculators at ZOS marketing division.

I'm pretty sure it's a predatory attempt to trick people into losing money. They know most games the bigger the pack the bigger the deal, so some people will buy it without doing the math, and in turn be ripped off :(

I've complained about it for ages but they have no intention of being consistent. It's funny but sad at the same time.

Also important to note in all such comparisons:

US prices are before taxes, while EU prices are after taxes (which add around 20% markup).

Multiplying the US price of 122$ you'll end up with an EU equivalent of around 146$, which is even higher than what they charge.

    Украина це Европа.

In Russia we have quite expensive subscription price, but chapters price is equivalent to other games with regional prices, e.g., Russian prices at Steam are half of global USD-based price.

Ah, misread the table. I used the 122 since it has "USA*" next to it, although that's for Poland and the USA label for the second half…

However, this makes the difference even bigger though:

The EU price of 124.99EUR already includes 20% taxes (and translates to 142.25USD), while in comparison the US 140USD is before taxes.

As far as I know, some states won't charge taxes for this but even then the EU price is like just 2.25USD more expensive.

The GB one seems to be a steal in comparison though, I agree. :)

You'll have that no matter how you price the game. There's always a region where people can get a better deal, but in the end it just ruins the pricing for those that really can't pay more (see above, like having 350$ a month total budget). Also reason I generally don't buy keys off resellers like G2A. If I don't agree with any prices at release, I simply wait for a sale.
