Hey all. Im in dire need of more storage. Is it possible to somehow create my own guild, just to have access to the guildbank? Lets say money is no issue here. :)

in essence all you need is a guild you are GM of, to hit ten players. that gives you a guild bank. If they choose to not play etc, thats up to them.

you can set up the bank with access permissions to officers and gm only, so inviting is not a big deal, if you're worried your goodies are going to be stolen.

Newbies from starter zones will appreciate the guild invite (ask them first ofc). You need at least 10 people to unlock the bank.

Now, that said, speaking from experience, the guild bank is not the best option for storage space.

Honestly i dont want any people in my guild , i play 100% solo and would hate having to actually chat in guildchat just because im the GM. If i were to do this on PC, i would have to buy 10 accounts? :O

When do you get that error?

You totally had to buy 10 accounts, if you wanna do it on pc, yes.

Since guilds are accountwide and 10 members are required for the guildbank

It's not an error, just something that happens when you move stuff from and to the guild bank.

Sometimes (often) it takes a bit of time for the server to process your request to move stuff to and from the bank. Usually you don't notice it when you use the guild bank as guild storage, but when you use it for personal storage and move quantities of stuff, it's going to happen frequently.

Thanks for clearing that up. I saw eso online Keys for the non steam version are way cheaper than steam one. There is nothing wrong with buying the non steam version as long as its same megaserver right?

Note that an guild bank can not store bound items like dungeon or trial sets nor the monster shoulders.
Nor overland and crafted sets you have equipped.

Things who are not bound its best to sell at once, prices tend to drop over time.
Only things who goes up is things from events who just drop once a year who become more expensive half a year later.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

No - the PS4 and PC servers don’t talk to each other, so if you make a Guild on PS4 it will not be available on PC.

You have two routes to get your own Guild Bank on PC:-

    1. Buy the game 10 times, creating 10 accounts. You’ll also need 10 email addresses.
    2. Create a guild and invite randoms to keep your membership above 10.

If money is no object, buy the base game 10 times (or another 9?) and you’re set.

Note that you cannot store bound items in a guild bank.

Or wait for the next free trial, create free accounts, profit!!! (Don't tell me you don't have any other email addresses t6o can use)

Or ask EU (or NA) players to join your private guild bank, offer to join theirs.

But whats the point of having a guild bank if i cant put gear from trials/dungoens in there? Thats like 99% of the things i own? :(

Originally, when the Guild Bank code was written, very little that dropped in-game was account bound. Bound drops came along later - whether for better or worse you can decide for yourself! - which prevented items from being traded, but also prevented items from being stored in a Guild Bank (because a Guild Bank is effectively a shared resource).

Right now, you can store any non-bound item in a guild bank - e.g. crafting mats, recipes, motifs, overland drop sets, crafted sets (that have not been worn) etc.

    Hope that helps!

Yes, note that it also includes crafted and overland sets you have used and want to keep.

Better to create bank alts. They are also useful during events.

Another note, even though they are not bound, treasure maps cannot be deposited in the guild bank.

If that is your goal, you may be better off buying crowns and purchasing the housing chests. That's where I store all my bound and crafted leveling gear.

You either need 9 alt accounts or 9 friends to join and you'll have access to a guild bank.
You would be better buying the storage chests and using those, there are 3 Large (60 slot) and 3 small (30 slot) home storage chests.

If you're not an eso+ subscriber, a personal guild bank could be quite useful as a crafting bag...
