Well let's try a clean boot. It'll let us know if there may be a program or process interfering with your Launcher. Please try the following steps:

1) Click Start, and type msconfig on the search box
2) Right click on the msconfig.exe program and choose Run as administrator
3) To place your computer into selective start up:
a. On the General Tab at the top, click on the Selective startup radio button
b. Uncheck "Load startup items"
4) Click on the Services tab at the top
a. On the Services tab check the Hide all Microsoft services check box at the bottom
5) Click the Disable all button at the bottom
6) Click Apply, then click OK
7) Restart your computer
