Yeah this isn’t going to happen, the changes haven’t totally trashed any races or buffed any way over the top either.

Haven’t had much time to go into PTS but seen outputs from a few others and all the races seem very balanced. Likos Mag NB test had Breton ahead by <1k and Dunmer, Altmer and Kahjit within a couple hundred. Even if you min max all those races are totally viable.

Nord is the only class that hardly anyone will have had but will be very strong in the tanking role. Argonian will still work though as it will for healer.

Basically ZoS won’t/shouldn’t give free race changes unless it’s shown they have made some classes total unbalanced which they don’t seem to be.

I'm not.

Some of the testing I've seen is weighted. Having players put points into health to raise their health up and acting as if players that are into the meta dps 'as much as possible' don't stack it all into magicka or stamina and depend on Ebon. This will make Argonians look better in a magicka DPS class since they won't need any health bonus and they still come in last place. Add that to the fact they are now only fighting for 2nd or 3rd for support roles like tanking and healing where racials matter much less than DPS makes me feel like there are still going to be a couple races left behind. It just won't be Nord this time.

Not saying it's the end of the world for Argonians, but they have been over nerfed and left fighting for 2nd place support or last place DPS. This is not balance. Maybe they will tweak things in testing, but with everyone not giving a crap b/c they just wanted to see the potion passive nerfed and most big time testers and streamers are DPSers not playing the race I have a feeling it will go live and I'll feel like Nords used to for the foreseeable future.

IDK, I'm trying to offer my thoughts, but starting to go from the 'upset they can't get it right' to not caring. At least I haven't pre-ordered the chapter yet, so I can wait and see.

And yes, they should offer free race change tokens 1/character IMO. It costs them nothing to do and if someone is in a situation where they feel screwed, they should be able to fix it. It's zos fault things were imbalanced to begin with and their fault it's changing. You shouldn't force your customers for your mistakes.

Except it is a cash grab for the entire endgame population. If you aren't minmaxing then you are bringing your group down.

I mean, they're already changing racials enough that they felt they needed to give us one free race change. Discounting them for a couple of weeks is a pretty logical additional step.

They'll probably sell a lot more of them if they do, though the people who run the Crown Store seem married to the idea that "milking whales" is better than "the Wal-Mart principle."

They should be free for 7 days after the launch of racial changes if you ask me, along with name change token... But ok discount would be better than nothing I guess ... I will still not buy them though as those changes are not what was promised it is just Meta Shifting for the sake of meta shifting... We were promised that all races would perform almost equally at all roles and it would be just purely cosmetical choice (or in the beginning that was the idea) and now we have BiS races once again...
