This is the least fun PvP has ever been.

Main reason is Stam warden. Shalks, dawnbreaker and spin to win groups are seriously ruining PvP for me right now. It's the most boring, most effective meta yet. Xbox eu is full of them.

Of all the things to complain about that is the least of concerns. Don’t put yourself in a situation to be dumped on. What is more triggering is root and snare spam mixed with snipe and draining shot spam while being sieged. But I guess complaints depend on group size.

    Try running impen fortified brass.

It's craftable and a decent set to run while you work on 'gittin gud'.

I don't wear heavy armor, no impen and no shields and the only time I get instagibbed is if I get ganked from cloak or getting caught in a viscous death explosion on resources.

Yeah one thing I noticed is the classes that can stack damage take most people out basically in one hit because it all lands at the same time. I love how people are complaining that it is a "heavy armor meta" when in reality it is that simply because the damage out put is so high that you need that to live.

Bleeds were improved to stop heavy for tank builds but in reality they just rip through light armor and medium armor once again forcing lots of people into heavy armor lol.

Then you get proc sets which adds into it lol. Nothing like you surving a attack just to have skoria land on you or skoria+sloads at the same time lol.

I know ganking nbs and damage stacking warden will not want a change but damage should def be toned down. If someone is wearing full impen gear they shouldn't die in 2 seconds to a player. And nbs are able to stun you after their initial burst from stealth so they can finish you off. I've seen it happen so much and all that happens of a nb doesn't kill you they stealth and adjust to try again or just run.

The other thing that should happen is banning monster sets and proc sets from pvp. Or their should be armor specifically designed for pvp. For example we could put a toughness stat on armor and that stat determines how you get hit in just pvp. This way they can balance pvp and pve using different stats.

If you don’t wear impen and don’t use shields, you’re likely the cause of the vicious death explosion, tbh.

I’ve been playing BGs non stop since It came out. Everything I do in game revolves around BGs.

So when you say healing is not strong in BG, I automatically know you have no clue what you’re doing. Healing in BG is insanely strong. One healer can make all the difference in the match.

Reading posts like yours is why people like me reply with things like “git gud” and “L2P”

    Literally.

There's ten billing groups all doing it. The only way to not put myself in that situation is to not PvP. Its utterly stupid. Every group has two at least doing this. I'd love to see some stats on most used skill in PvP. I honestly reckon spin to win would be just behind vigor for most usesability. It's straight up idiotic at the moment. And these groups just run around a keep building ult and then turn a corner and ult dump with shalks and steel potato. It's such a thumbless and boring way to play the game. It literally takes zero skill.

Sure, snares drive me nuts too. They really need to be toned down. Snipe doesn't bother me much to be fair, most people hit like wet noodles even when I'm in medium.

I see. You missed the era of softcaps with 1000 players around...

The time has changed, there is no way to go back. Adopt to the changes and git gud, or leave...

What do you mean there is no way back? You just turn softcaps back on and hand everyone drinking goblets for all the tears that will soon flow from the min/maxers using brute force as a crutch.

It was a great era. The era of fun, good feelings, enjoy... but its dead. Even if you turn on soft caps, it would not be the same "feelings".

The new era is about 50k+ dps, nerfs, gid gud, adopt... (combat related) and the list goes on...

But the only difference is, the world getting better.
Kudos to the people behind the screens like the story writer.

Note: 90% of the threads are combat related. Think about that.
