Sorcerers will love the new "Implosion" passive...

I like it, more raw power at the expense of a few cheap RNG PVP kills.

    Currently implosion is kinda stupid.

Not sure I like this though. Seems a bit lackluster and counter-intuative.

I dont think stamsorc need this

It is good to stop the crying over implosion.... but it means sorc should change from dot type gameplay and have less execute than before

Seeems to me like a pvp nerf while they dont need one

Great change imo. Will have to test it of course, but it's a nice buff both for PvE and PvP without being reliant on a proc chance.

Very good change. 👏 Anything to help bring opponents' HP down to execute range faster is a buff for PvP magsorcs imo.

Not sure if amplitude is the correct name for the ability. I understand what they are getting at and the metaphor but really it is just the measure of a waves size at any given point in time. If they were to take the derivative of the wave function they would have a spatial probability or a probability function. That would be the function describing the change in amplitude. It is the same logic applied to second derivatives when measuring velocity (acceleration is the change while velocity is the state at any point in time).

Sorcs already have an execute, and implosion only served a purpose (PvP) every so often. No one relies on it. This new passive makes it easier to bring enemies into execution range, by always (no matter how big or small) having a damage buff. On live I could kill an enemy without implosion. After this update, I'll be doing more damage to enemies I never needed implosion for in the first place. Depending on how much the racial passives affect my Breton of course lol

It allows for sorcs to create more opportunities to kill while making it harder to just secure everything on sight. Sounds good to me. Great for pve, not bad for pvp.

It is a very good change, Killing NPC’s through sneak attacks will be all the more fun for Khat Sorcs
(Not to mention the partial compatibility with bloodthirsty jewellery.)
If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...

If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.

I like the change simply because it wont be frustrating to fight against. Randomly dying because implosion procced with endless fury is annoying to no end. At least this is much more consistent.

@Morgul667 just save yourself and play a new class! :/ You can always come back to Stam sorc later there’s no shame in that. I would if they fixed it.

Won't this make the initial burst setup in PVP extremely powerful? Seems like a buff to me.

    Lol.

The first 10% doesn't kill people (PvP). Sure its nice to have more damage but we are losing burst in execute. Sorc burst is already hugely telegraphed and roll dodge avoids pie execute now we lose this.

I'll weather the storm regardless but its odd the bland changes they are making across the board its all losing its edge

Honestly, I think the changes for PvP are highly overestimated. How often does your enemy stick around a threshold where the additional damage would be really recognizable?

On low HP targets that have Shields active the buff doesn't do anything compared to Implosion.

I think it's a good change for PvE but in PvP I don't see this as a better version. Sure the rng was always an issue but the proc was remarkable and helped finishing off people a lot.

I don't know... Implosion helped finishing off mobs in VMA with AOE abilities, both mag and stam. Stamsorcs also had double the chance of proccing the passive when using Stormfist monster set (shock and physical damage). I think I'll miss that.
