As a (maybe) quick workaround to the long load screens, it could be nice to:

1. keep the chat window open and active, so that any ongoing conversations can proceed

2. mixing up the current concept art+suggestion with some lore books in the game, to have something nice to read while waiting

Just a couple of ideas.
