Race Changes are both Lame and Good

I always thought the race you choose should be cosmetic only, so I am in two minds about the upcoming race changes.

On the one hand, I wish they'd just leave it alone. While it may be true that one race is marginally better than another, I've played them all and I don't see big differences except on paper.

On the other hand, the proposed changes bring us closer to what I wanted, i.e. race make no difference. With the nerfing of almost every bonus, and the addition of some flavor abilities that SOUND good but don't really amount to much, I see race as being almost unimportant except to the most min-maxery of min-maxers.

So, good job ZoS. I think.

Next I expect it will be champion points being replaced with flat bonuses, thus reducing the difference between players and toons still further. And again, I don't know how I feel about that. For all the changes ZoS has made over the years, I've not noticed any meaningful improvement. Things get removed in one area and added back in another, and it mostly seems like change for the sake of change.

    This will probably already start with Wrathstone and INgame % modifiers like Undaunted Mettle which very likely will get tuned down t a Flat ammount, therefore nerfing Magicka / Stamina stacking even more :/

    I hope that they revisit certain skills, which scale massivly of off max Magicka like Templars Power of the Light / Purifing Light, Radiant Oppresion....or Sorcs Petbuilds, which relied on Stacking Max Magicka due to the great synergy from Petsorcs and Necropotence.
