Why cant consoles link to twitch?

I remembered while watching the livestream about the upcoming content it was mentioned to link our accounts to twitch. What wasn’t mentioned was that if you are on console this can not be done. So console players miss out on the Twitch drops? If I missed some information please reply. Thanks.

No, they don’t. Linking between Twitch and ESO is something that happens only between those two parties, the console versions only use Sony/MS for authentication.
And even if this is a problem, which I doubt, then this feature never should have been released. It’s essential a loyalty reward program and having that only for PC clearly shows how much Console is valued by this company ....0
