I'm a complete ignorant(almost, I did level one up to 50 but never even used class skills) player when it comes to NB, but I wanna try it anyway and I gotta start somewhere. In order to save on expensive gear I might not keep using if I don't like NBs, I would prefer to stick to cheap(20k total Max for 5 pieces) gear or, specially, craftable. Considering it's a cat toon, and in PC NA for price reference, what should I wear?
My first idea would be 5/5/2, hunding's, gaze, acuity, for a fully craftable set, but I feel this is possibly not the best option within my testing limitations.
Also, dual wield, bow and 2h, which ones would be better suited for a stamblade?

Night Mothers' Gaze is useless as you get Fracture elsewhere.
Hundings' is always, always, always a solid choice. I'd suggest chest, gloves, belt, pants, and boots, so that even if you nuke the NB, you'd still find use for a set (and can pair with a monster set [so not in helm and shoulders]).
Here are some other options may be fun:
Kvatch Gladiator. The 5-piece will add even more to your execute damage. As a critty kitty, this should be stupid fun.
Then any 2-piece that gives what you think you are lacking: stamina, health, resistance, whatever.
Its a shame there are (AFAIK) no crafted sets that give stamina recovery at 2-piece (several that do at 3), because, as I understand, kitties lack in sustain.1 -
Zelos✭✭✭✭✭Eternal Hunt, Spriggans, Troll king.
Eternal hunt teaches you to roll dodge, gives sustain and utility.
Spriggans gives you all damage,
and troll king will keep you alive. 2h and bow setup that's a good place to start learning.
