"You are immune to the Diseased status effect." - Does this mean Argonian is immune to defiles?

As the title states? I am a little confused on what the diseased status effect is? Would this mean Argonian is immue to befoul/defile etc? That would be a massive game changer to the race for losing the healing received and small % nerf to healing done.

The diseased status effect is an elemental status effect that applies minor defile to the affected target. The argonian racial passive does not mean that it cannot be defiled, it means it cannot have the diseased status effect applied to it. This will reduce uptime on enemy minor defile for argonians, however it does not mean they cannot still receive minor/major defile from other sources like thurvokun, fasalla's guile, dragonknight standard, etc.

Not immune to Defile, you can use Revert bash or any skill that guarantees the Defile and it works.

The immunity from the Diseased status effect means that they do not get the Diseased status and thus the Defile effect that comes with it from usual sources of Disease damage, like Disease glyph on a weapon as an example.

Also, it is nothing new this immunity, argonian already had that even right now, also they right now got Poisoned status Immunity, but on the preview, it is being removed from argonian. Just saying this, some not know right now that both Argonian and Bosmer currently on live have these both immunities.

If i had to guess i would say diseased status effects does not apply to them so they are unable to acquire a diseased dot

Do they cant get defiled from that source but are still able to be defiled from other sources

Diseased status has no dot, it is the Poisoned status effect that is the dot damage status effect.

And yes, other sources than Disease damage (that has a chance to proc the Diseased status effect, 20% chance from a Disease weapon glyph as an example again) can do Defile on Argonian.

Also, you can get this same immunity by using a jewelry Disease resistance glyph. So you can get immunity to the status effect on any race you play with jewelry glyph. Flame resistance jewelry glyph gives immunity to Burning status effect from Flame damage and so on in similar way.

Hope this answers all the questions about these. :)

Actually, if we are talking about status effects, how is 'chilled' status applied? Frost glyph, probably. All frost attacks from destruction? Does nord's immunity to it work on Asylum destruction staff (which applies all elemental debuffs: burn, chill, concussion)?

What many people are not realizing is that these immunities are already provided by the disease or flame resistances that are already in racial passives. They are just clarifying it.
