We will pay for expansion, to pay once again for race changes. I think it would be nice gesture and incentive to buy preorder if ZOS would give us additional race change tokens (1 per character) or other way to change our race when preordering Elsweyr.

✭✭✭✭✭I wonder if someone from the marketing team has counted up how much money they stand to make if the majority of the playerbase has to pay around 3500 crowns times 12 for race changes.
3500 crowns is about 25-35 non sale. So if we take it at $30, that's $360 per person to race change 12 toons.
If I was ZOS id ruin racials every patch for that kind of money.1 -

Agreed. I don't Min/Max my characters with race & class.
For one I'm an Ebonheart Pact loyalist so I only play races for that alliance.
Secondly I play characters that I think could be interesting.

I don't consider the passives when choosing a race for my character, I pick based on which ones I want to play and what suits the theme of the character I'm planning to make. So I'm highly unlikely to ever change the race of the character - If I did they'd be a totally different character and I may as well start over anyway.
Therefore free race changes are irrelevant to me. They wouldn't affect my decision to buy (or not buy) Elsweyr. But I do want the expansion for other reasons and there's no option for that in the poll.PC EU player | She/her/hers | PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff) - Say No to Crown Crates!

Nope, post that tries to find compromise between unsatisfied players and ZOS trying to earn some cash. Giving those race changes only for the ones who would preorder the expansion could boost their sales by a lot while making players extremely happy. Without it they will sell far less preorders, while race change tickets are not so sure to sell as good.I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.0 -
