Making overland a challenge - idea.

Simply - couldn't we just have monsters crit? Today, all vet toons can down a mob blindfolded, and many can easily take on world-bosses themselves. Why not make mobs be able to crit, to keep players on their toes and maybe having to gang up on a boss?
Old man playing. Have a life, a job and only one character, which is grumpy (all the time)

✭✭✭✭✭not going to work. why? cause players who already find overland easy - will see zero effect from that as they kill mobs too quickly so they will never see those crits. meanwhile players for whom difficulty is currently just right - are going to suffer, as they don't have enough damage to deal with crits, usuallydirty worthless casual.

I suspect this is a plot to raise prices on Impenetrable trait gear

Ha - wouldn't it be nice to be able to use the same gear, more or less, from PVP and PVE. Seems like it would have the opposite effect. People wouldn't have to go gear-up for different content.
Anyway - just an idea. I find overland boring and the quests are too easy. I would love a challenge for my max-CP toon, when the new quests from the new chapter drops.
