Should opponents scrolls be able to be taken out of reach behind closed scroll gate?

This morning AD took an EP scroll behind their closed scroll gate to protect it from EP taking it back. Then, held it there until they could secure a keep for it to reset to.

I'm pretty sure that the game designers did not intend for this kind of thing to happen. A color should not be able to, in effect, take a scroll out of the game for a period of time.

What does the community think? Should the enemy be able to hide a scroll behind their closed gate to keep it from being taken back?

Technically it is not unreachable since EP can open that gate by taking keeps.

As long as they can't take it into their base proper, I don't see a problem

Agreed. The only difference is you have to take two keeps to get to it instead of one. But it is still reachable. Pretty smart tactic.

Pretty sure jaws343 is one of the guys that took the scroll behind the gate.

I agree 100% DC had the other keep all they needed was fare then they’d split AD’s scrolls..if EP wasted their time then that’s on them

Interesting. I had no idea this could be done. Like others have said, it is still reachable, just need to open the gate.

Considering the attacking faction has to pick up the scroll for the defending faction to recapture it and bring it behind the gate in the first place, I think it's fine.

So, we have to assume your vote was that this is something that SHOULD NOT be allowed. ...since, according to you, it's something to be ashamed of.

Just take the required keeps, open the gate and teach them a lesson.

The fail safe on this is the time restriction. It will reset if not placed within an hour.
