Dragon Dolmens in Elswey and how hard to kill a dragon?

So they mention killing a dragon will be much more difficult then Skyrim of course since we are not the Dragonborn. But how hard will it be to kill one do you think? I kinda hope it takes a massive raid of like 20+ players and healers and tanks will be needed as well (meaning lot of hard hitting attacks that DPS players can't manage). Also do you think they will just be world bosses or also have like dolmen similar to chains or Summerset events.

I could see them doing town events where a dragon shows up in some of the towns and having to fight them off.

Lore wise we can't kill a dragon we can defeat it but to kill one you have to destroy/absorb its souls which only a dragonborn is able to.

Well, we ordinary people can kill a dragon. It just won't stay dead forever unless a dragonborn takes its soul - Alduin could still resurrect theses dragons unless Tiber Septim or another dragonborn wanders by in the future.

Unfortunately for these dragons, Alduin is AFK.

Bucket and broom might not be enough :'( but in all seriousness imagine the movement of the two Gryphons in Gryphon Run and the aoe spam of Zandadunoz the Reborn. On top of that these Elsweyr dragons are the genuine article so I would not be surprised if they used dragon shouts in combat.

For instance, a dragon might use the storm call shout (similar to the Lightning Storm Atronach in the Aetherian Archive) that could wipe an entire group if mechanics are not followed or defense isn't up during the duration. If a player is hit by the ice form shout they might require another player to set them free or they might be able to break free on their own. The disarm shout might temporarily cause you to lose access to your weapon abilities (similar to what Tree-Minder Ka-Nesh/Captain Blackheart does to one of the players, but in this scenario you can still weapon swap and use any ability that is not associated with a weapon).

I have no idea how difficult killing a dragon will be, but I do hope that when one dies I am left feeling satisfied with the encounter.

    Favorite Foods and Potions
    https://media.giphy.com/media/3otPoTggaYFNd1FdAI/giphy.gif
    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

They'll probably be the same difficulty as geyser bosses in Summerset. So something like a public dungeon boss, which means any experienced player will be able to solo them blindfolded.

@MLGProPlayer yeah this is my worry as well I can solo almost all the world bosses. So I hope they make them much more difficult. But since it will be a “New Player” starting zone I’m sure your right sadly.

@JadonSky they didnt really mention the dragon attacks. I noticed it written on one of the slides they had. I was quick to note it down. I really really HOPE they arent like dolmens and are more epic world events. The dolmens are getting old real quick.
